plays any game your throw at it. Battery life is great and can easily last 3 hours

I own a 3070ti laptop. I havent used it in 2 years. I got the lcd steamdeck... Sold it quickly! I got the ally... In love. Then i got the legion go... Piece of crap with windows. Installed bazzite... In love. Got the X a week ago and the others are going to gather dust. Bought it open boxed and couldn't be more pleased with it. It plays hallo infinite and looks great. Ratchet and clank plays well too. Which are two games I've had issues with on my other handhelds.

First things first, the Ally X is a 5 star device. I love this thing so much, perfect in every way. I give this 3 stars because you have to give your money and trust to ASUS. I have had this for 4 months or so and I have to sontact support ever 2 weeks becuase there has been an issue with registering the device for the warranty. I reach out, they say "we are so sorry and care about you and will fix this", then say its fix, it still shows error and then the cycle continues. It just show that the other rumors or facts about them doing things to get out of the warranty on there devices, look into the ASUS Motherboard fiasco. The hard ware is great but the support and software is not. Plus, the hardware is great but it is inconsistent. I bought the ally x had to return it to Best Buy becuase it was bricked and the second one worked great. When it works its incredible. Best Buy is also great with their return policy. Bought a monitor from Micro Center and two died before I got one that worked for more than 2 weeks. Again, when it works its incredible. Agin, Micro Center is great too with their return policy. Summary. Buy this only at a third party that has a great return policy and offers their own warranty. Or buy the Legion Go. Not as good of a product but don't hear the consistent complaints about it. Chances are you will not have an issue with Ally X but if you do, do you really want to but your faith in a company that has proven to not support their customers or stand by their products to fix this incredibly expense handheld? 5/5 Ally X ----100/10 ASUS

Excellent handheld device. great to play on the go and the battery life is improved. not worth it thought if you already own the rog ally but if you are looking at a windows handheld this is the one to get

I recently purchased the ASUS ROG Ally X, and I can confidently say it’s one of the most impressive handheld gaming devices I’ve ever used. ASUS has truly raised the bar for portable gaming. The ROG Ally X is a powerhouse. With its AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, it handles AAA games effortlessly. I was amazed at how smoothly games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring ran on high settings, even in handheld mode. The performance is on par with some gaming laptops, which is truly remarkable for such a compact device.

Very fun, the buttons work well, the screen quality is great and it doesn't heat up too much.

I am not the demographic this item gets. I am a 56 year old gamer and last month began possibly needing readers. The battery, the screen, the feel are all above 3 stars.... What makes it 3 stars is Windows and even worse it's Windows 11 which has so many issues in regards to connections. I hope to update this review but am also considering returning it as I won't be traveling as much as I thought i would. Asus did great and it might be AMAZING with a different OS like Steam OS. 3 stars because it doesn't work well for me. The excitement was short lived with the 3 days of updates.

Great road trip companion! Windows is changeable but I kept it. Screen is the legitimate only drawback but I paired it with Viture Luma's so no biggie.

Ive been using the Ally X for the past few months now and its amazing! I suffered a back injury that left me bedridden for afew months and this allowed me to continue playing my favorite games. Once again asus has continued to earn my business,wether it be motherboards and graphics cards,or mobile gaming solutions!

The one thing keeping me on the steam deck was it’s great battery life. The ROG Ally X eliminate it’s only downfall (battery) and improves upon everything else. The steam deck has finally been dethroned

I absolutely love this gaming handheld it’s my favorite gaming device it plays all the games i never thought i could play on the go. Would highly recommend this to anyone who travels or just likes to go places

The product was almost perfect, despite the box and minor scratches. It is amazingly good and with some sacrificies it can be the best handheld pc comparing price/performance. Need a xbox experience without paying extra 400 bucks? Rog got u

Amazing product! Battery life is incredible for something so light. Plays AAA games at decent framerate with some settings tweaks.

This is my second handheld my first was the steam deck, LCD and the ally x outperforms the steam deck, every aspect so far and to be honest, even my desktop. I have an Intel i7 11700 with a 2060 and 32 GB of memory overclocked all on a MSI motherboard and it can’t even keep up with the ally x. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking to upgrade or somebody looking to get in to handheld gaming. I use mine for just about everything. The only downside is it’s running Windows 11 and it’s not fully handheld compatible yet.

Great performance has decent storage out the box. No complaints
