I absolutely love this thing! Its so awesome to be abke to play pc games and the Xbox app is great as well to play xbox games. I am really enjoying it.

I am in the navy and i travel alot and this thing has been a life saver, im able to play a bunch of different games with no issues, would highly recommend!

For what I want to play it’s amazing, for AAA games I’d suggest a laptop or an eGPU setup, works well with my dock, monitor, mouse, keyboard for my MMO though. Convenient to use and setup and just take the handheld with me at times.

Beast of a machine. Quality control was a bit unlucky, went through 3 before I got a solid device. Aside from that I am MORE than happy that I got this. Beats anything else out the right now, but probably won’t be top tier for long.

This has mostly replaced my gaming desktop, ps5, and switch. Absolutely love kicking back on the couch and playing. Toss in a 4tb nvme m.2 and you have an amazing portable solution

I travel overseas a lot and the ROG Ally X allows me to pass the time when chilling in the hotel room. So far I’ve only played Xbox GamePass games and all have worked well except Return to Castle Wolfenstein - can’t get it to run. Make sure you enable offline gaming on your Microsoft account. One complaint, it’s difficult for me to hold the controls and tilt the screen to view straight on. If the screen could rotate that would fix this issue.

The Rog Ally X is hands down by far the best gaming experience I've ever had. Imagine if the Nintendo Switch and a mid-high end PC had a baby, the Ally X would be that baby. Unfortunately, it's still the same price is the new more powerful Xbox Ally X. I would either hold off for the price drop or get the Xbox Ally X

Love this thing! Only issue was that i got an open box model marked "excellent" but the X button is cracked and sticks... but other than that, love it! Runs Diablo 4 great

I was not sure which portable video game I would be. After reading lots of reviews, I decided to buy the new Rog Ally. I don't regret it! Of course it has its downsides if you compare to a traditional portable video games (it is not easy to configure, some games will not work properly, Bluetooth joystick configuration is problematic sometimes). But the upsides are awesome! You can connect it with your Xbox Ultimate, Steam and EA accounts. You can use emulator's and it runs smoothly. You can use it as your PC. You can want your streaming services. It has the best hardware configuration. If you just want to click and play a game from one company, it could not be the best option for you. But if you don't mind spending some time with configuration and problem-solving in order to get the full potential of this powerful device, this is the best option for you.

Sooo good! Can run most games w no problem. Havent tried a really demanding game since thats not realistic but it can run most games my wife plays.

I came from a Lenovo Legion Go which I sold because it was just too heavy and didnt meet my expectations because of things such as battery life, sound wuality, etc but this thing is amazing and fixes most of the issues i had with the go! Games play great and its just so nice to use. Cant wait to keep using it!!

This is a gamers dream. This thing plays pretty much anything you throw at it. You may not get maxed out settings, but on such a small display even games at 720 look amazing. Most games run natively at 1080 with ease. Def seems like a solid device for 2025!

I love this machine. I don't use it for gaming, I love it's battery life, and it mostly can be used without a mouse and keyboard. You won't go wrong with the fast little jewel.

I absolutely love this, im a ps5 user and i love this system to play steam games on. It runs smoothly and i have yet to lag out while playing

The Rog ally has been a lot of fun. I don't play video games too much, but I went on a cruise back in February and it was great to use when I didn't have WiFi.

The entire console was improved compared to the previous one. I would have liked an OLED screen, but this one still meets expectations.

Great handheld gaming pc. Amorycrate is great, having it start up as you turn on the machine is a great option. Windows 11 isnt as bad as people say it is on this, keep everything up to date, uninstall items and programs you wont use. And you can dual boot to other os if wanted I upgraded from a steamdeck and am immensely happy.

Had the original ally and all it needed was a better battery. Now that it does I've retired my Steamdeck oled and exclusively use the Ally X. Even with "only" an IPS panel the side by side with my Oled is so minimal its not worth going to for less performance. All the youtube videos are accurate, thr battery life is so much better even on high TDP.
