This is a fantastic replacement for mopping providing deep cleaning of hard floors in a compact and lightweight package with no chemicals needed. I tend to put off mopping until I absolutely have to do it with all the hassles involved...it’s up there with collecting fall leaves in my list of things I do not enjoy doing. This has made cleaning my floors much more convenient and it does a fantastic job at that! Many steam cleaners may be on the larger side but this is very compact and lightweight making it both easy to use and easy to store. All you have to do to use it is fill a small canister with regular water (it holds about a pint glass-worth of water), snap it into place, and turn it on. That’s it. No chemicals needed since it uses steam. The operation is surprisingly quiet as well where you can hear it steaming the water and a little noise coming from the rotating scrubber but it doesn’t make much sound at all. Most importantly, it cleans very well where it removes sticky spots and stains with just a few passes and doesn’t require the manual scrubbing that you would have to do with a traditional mop. It also picks up debris as well so it’s not like you have to vacuum the floor first before starting the steam clean. It’s all built into one. I was concerned that it may leave excess moisture on my laminate wood floor but it’s not much at all and dries within a few minutes. It also comes with a very long cord (25 feet) so it’s easily able to clean my entire kitchen without the need to change outlets. I found that the canister was enough to clean about 50 square feet before needing to refill it. This is a great little, deep cleaning machine!

The Shark SteamPickup 3-in-1 Steam, Pick-Up & Sanitize Mop is a great tool for cleaning your floors without having to use harsh chemicals. The design of this steam mop is excellent. It is composed of mostly plastic, which I would say is a benefit because it makes it more lightweight and will be resistant to small drops in case it were to fall over. The front of the machine has lights that make dust and debris more visible. The brush roll is really nice. It does a great job at picking up dust and debris. It also does a great job at providing a deep scrub if you have a particularly dirty mess to clean up. The steam is also very effective, it seems to neutralize odor and sanitize everything. I got this mop because I have a dog who unfortunately regularly makes messes in my home, and I wanted something that both provided a deep clean and also avoided using harsh chemicals for my and my dog’s health. I really believe this mop accomplishes those goals. It’s really convenient not having to pre-sweep before I use it. Likewise, I especially appreciate that it is self-cleaning and anti-microbial. I believe the instructions say it still must be cleaned occasionally but it is much better than having to clean it after every use like a traditional steam mop may require. There is a tray that also needs to be emptied, but it’s easy to do and simple to use. Overall, this is a great product that will become part of my regular cleaning routine.

I am unsure if it cleans the floor since there’s no separate container for the dirty water. Overall it vacuum well and steams good. The only downside is it doesn’t recommend putting in a cleaning solution.

I wanted to love this but decided not to use it as my floors would be damaged. I read several reviews where people had damaged floors so I didn't want to take the risk! I wanted to love this!

It started leaking water after 3 months of use. Check the water container attachment and it looks good, it seems the leak is internal.

Not what had hoped it would be. If I didn’t toss out the box I would return it, leaves my floor wet. I luv the shark brand but this one isn’t it

Purchased on Dec 8 2024. Used maybe 2 times per week lightly. By Feb. it stopped working. Very disappointed. While working it did a great job.

I love steam for cleaning the kitchen and bathroom and I love a wet suction vacuum for messes on hard floors. Here to fore, I have had two separate devices standing in the closet space in the corner of the kitchen. Now, I have a single unit that does both jobs -- AND -- is easy to clean! Out of the box assembly could not be easier. Take off a few pieces of tape, put the handle into the top of the unit until you hear a click and you are ready to add water and start cleaning up whatever mess you might have. There are 3 power settings allowing you to match the machine to the task at hand. Also, the "head lights" are very powerful and actually seem to be aimed downward so you can see the floor clearly just ahead of the cleaning action. Oh, and yes this is a steam cleaner and it produces tons! The swivel handle makes for very effortless navigation. The collection unit is also simple. The roller just "flicks" the debris into a small hopper located just behind - kind of like those old push brooms they use in restaurants. The difference here is it is designed to handle wet material. My old wet vac worked very well but with tubes and large collection containers with an overflow sensor, cleanup was horrible. With the Shark SteamPickup 3-in-one clean up is easy. The only minor trade off is that the capacity is somewhat limited. Still I found it quite sufficient to clean my kitchen floor without emptying. Then literally squeeze the release buttons, pull on the tab attached to the roller and the parts present themselves for easy cleaning. Once you have finished the job and cleaned the floor, you can stand the unit on the included stand. The roller can be dried on the stand too with a handy mounting point.

I will never buy from Best Buy again as of the return window is two weeks! Although shark did a great job fixing the problem. This steamer is great for smaller houses the one star is for Best Buy customer service

At first, the product was working fine. After a week or so, it started leaking water. It leaves big water marks everywhere.

Living with 2 children and 3 dogs in a house with wood floors and tile everywhere can build up quite a bit of dirt and grime over time. Traditional mopping is tedious and at times to me seems like I’m just pushing dirty water around. I’ve tried steam mops before but the pads after a few uses get grimy and dirty and are impossible to really get clean afterwards. So, when I saw the Shark SteamPickup 3-1 Steam, Pick Up, and Sanitize mop with a roller that cleans itself AND picks up debris, I knew I had to have it! Goodbye days of grimy steam pads that need constant replacing! Can the roller really clean itself during use and still clean your floors well, let’s find out! Initial setup was seamless and easy and took less than a few minutes. The Steam mop doesn’t use any type of cleaner, so you just fill the jug up with water and off you go! There are 2 different modes depending on how deep of a clean you want. The steam starts to appear after about 15-20 seconds of being turned on. The nice thing about this steam mop is that it separates wet and dry into two different compartments, so you don’t necessarily have to vacuum before you use it. I was pleasantly surprised by how effective this was because with other steam mops in the past I’ve always had to do a pre vacuum to make sure the mop isn’t pushing around a bunch of dog hair and debris! The mop itself is lightweight and rolls well and the steam is produced at a steady rate to do larger areas rather quickly. It’s worth mentioning you can use this steam mop on any type of sealed floor. We have hardwood in the main living areas and tile in the bathrooms and it cleans both seamlessly! Once you’re done with the mop you lift the tray up and there’s the wet and dry compartments that you can empty separately. The roller itself can be removed and rinsed out after use and I was again very surprised to see that after a lot of heavy cleaning it didn’t appear to be dirty or grimy. The one gripe I do have is with the size of the water compartment that the mop picks up while mopping. It fills up fairly quickly with dirty water and if you have a large area you’re cleaning you have to empty it before you’re completely done cleaning to finish the job. But it’s a small price to pay for not having to buy multiple steam pads to clean with! Overall, I am very happy with the job the Shark SteamPickup 3-1 steam mop does! With the self-cleaning roller you don’t have to worry about multiple steam pads and the ability to pick up debris while mopping makes this a versatile and very useful mop vacuum combo. If you’re looking for a steam mop, I highly recommend you check this one out, you won’t be disappointed.
