Runs games really well I hang ran into any problems east to navigate battery doesn’t last too long not plugged in though

Im just going to get into why i returned this laptop. 1. I play rocket league and the game kept stuttering and it was playing slightly choppy. I lowered settings and optimized the game through nvidia app and tired shutting down background tasks and still nothing. The fans also kept ramping but thats understandable because its a thin laptop. 2. When i would close the laptop screen so it would go into sleep mode when i would re open it would not function properly. I had to restart the laptop everytime i did that for it to work properly. 3. The speakers were by far the absoute worst garbage to be ever put onto a modern electronic device, terrible. 4. The cpu and gpu wattage is limited because its a thin laptop, might as well go for a 5070 version it would be close to that performance but it does have more vram. 5. Sometimes when i would launch a game through steam it would gray screen on me and freeze up for 1 minute. I had to end task and when i would click to open the game again the same thing would happen. Had to restart to get it to launch. I purchased the lenovo legion pro 7i instead with the same exact specs and i have none of these issues. Sure i paid a bit more for the lenovo but its worth it Plus the screen gets brighter on the lenovo. This is not a bad laptop for the price but its a good thing i got the lenovo to compare and now i know there are other laptops out there that do it much better for a little more money.

Shockingly sharp display I though 1440p on a 16" would be overkill but perhaps combined with OLED it really mesmerized me. Long time fan of 1080p I was worried the extra pixels would hurt performance but the 5070TI is letting me max out all settings no issues. I only wish it came with a 2TB drive instead of 1TB but not storing lots of movies it seems fine.

Laptop flys right out of the box, my son used it on a business trip and was thrilled with the quality of the laptop. Found it fast and worth the buy

Bought this for my son for school and gaming (mostly gaming, not going to lie, but he does do his homework on it) and I am extremely jealous. The graphics and processing speed and insane. This powerhouse of a laptop is an absolute workhorse and can play any game. It is worth the price tag.

Absolutely love this laptop, price to performance without a sale I feel like is already amazing! Got it on Black Friday sale and the oled with the 5070 TI I literally can run anything!

Bought for $1,449. No other laptops come even remotely close to the same price for the performance. Just don't plan on using it for very long without the charging cable.

Overall it runs well. However, I still find that my normal desktop with a 4070 runs smoother with some games like Helldivers. It serves its purpose: portability.

Great laptop for gaming, runs new games very smoothly. Screen looks amazing. Would recommend a laptop cooler cause it can run hot while playing games

The hardware works great, there was minimal bloatware that I was able to uninstall easily, still plays decent when not plugged in. While plugged in it plays very well and keeps itself cool without being too loud even if displaying to a 4K TV

This is an awesome laptop. The look and feel of the outside, the buttons, the OLED screen. The performance of the GPU, frame rates and resolution is outstanding. My first gaming laptop coming from XBOX series X. Purchased so I can game outside of just my house.

Wow, what a great laptop for the money. Aside from the fan noise this thing is perfect. The display is absolutely amazing.

This device works exactly as I need it to. It can run high end online games without fail. It does get hot, but even with a cheaper cooling pad that problem is no issue.

Very thinn and fast computer. Waited for long time to be available in stock. GREAT EQUIPMENT, several games installed - screen is abosolutely high definition. I can run fortnite with 1980 X 1080 with 250 FPS. with 2550 at 144 FPS. COD and other games have ridiculous high FPS rates. buy it! You can control the laptop bevahiour using the predator sense APP, so i changed easly from working mode to gamer mode (turbo).

So far this laptop has been a beast. It has handled anything I’ve thrown at it so far with no issues and being able to adjust the fan speed makes it a breeze to keep cool. The battery life is the only Achilles heel of this product but what do you expect with this much performance jam packed into a small product.

Screen looks amazing. So far im playing Diablo 4, Monster Hunter Wilds, Helldivers 2 and Marvel's Rivals and they run smooth with over 150FPS on max settings. Be sure to put brightnes to max level and play with the settings to take advantage of the OLED display. Performance mode is ok and turbo mode is kind of loud. But the speakers make up for it. Pretty great laptop specially for the price.

I bought the Acer Predator Helios with Intel Ultra 9 and RTX 5070 Ti. Gaming performance is excellent, the screen is bright with good colors, and cooling handles long sessions well. However, I noticed that the CPU sometimes spikes up to 105°C for a few seconds when a workload starts, then it quickly drops back to normal and stays stable. On my previous ASUS laptop with Ryzen, I never had those temperature jumps. Out of the box, the system also comes with a lot of preinstalled software, which slows down startup. After cleaning the bloatware and adjusting the startup apps, the laptop now runs fast and smooth — but the first impression wasn’t perfect. Pros: Strong CPU and GPU performance Good display quality Decent cooling once it ramps up Solid build and design Cons: Short CPU temperature spikes up to 105°C Too much preinstalled software Needs optimization out of the box Bottom line: If you don’t mind doing a bit of cleanup and tweaking, this is a very capable gaming laptop with excellent performance

Excellent laptop love the build a shame that acer limits the total wattage to 300W which underpowers the the major components, this is done mainly to keep temperatures low but similar laptops show bettter performance for the same components. The 240 hz OLED screen is an amazing feature and makes games look incredible.

I was a prospect buyer for this machine but decided to not purchase for one main reason: The screen is locked to 240hz. You cannot change it to 120hz or 60hz. It is locked. This is horrible for battery life and looking at multiple reviews, it seems like this laptop gets a max of two and a half hours unplugged. This is extremely disappointing given the price and specs are the best out there for any other laptop :(
