Track pad probably depends on your preference/use caee, but for me not having a mouse rattling around suits my needs nicely. Good Keyboard

Also, the range is better than I expected; good not to have mouse/touchpad stuttering issues like my old bluetooth mouse had. I Wish it was backlit but it is what it's advertised to be
