In both cases the wireless keyboard was recognized by the devices without having to be set up. Great for any instance where you need a basic mouse and keyboard (no 10-key) in a small form factor like servers, smart tv’s and remote laptop control (for media). I can’t attest to the range, as I have no need to be away from the devices they are plugged into, but I’ve always had good luck with Logitech wireless products.
