My 650 was a true remote. I could operate all my devices with it. Not so with the Companion. I had to have a tech set up a way to operate my Yahama, using one of the red buttons, I can now change inputs buts that's all. My 650 let do every thing that my Yahama remote could. There is no screen to see what you are doing. The only reason for switching is that some of the buttons on the 659 stopped functioning. I thing that's pretty sad because it was only a little over 4 years old. Bottom line it that I am returning the Companion and hoping to find another 650 or maybe a 665. One other thing, the initial purchase was replaced because the volume button did not work on the original. I also do not like the hard touch/soft touch for the buttons that control functions.

Important to have a remote intuitive enough for the whole family and haven’t seen one that comes close

This is my 2nd Logitech Harmony Companion Remote. The first one lasted 8 years. The customer support is excellent and it was very easy to program.

I bought this to replace an older model logitech harmony remote. This one has many useful features and works well most of the time when using the activity buttons. Makes it easier for relatives to use equipment.

I use this remote as a companion remote to my Harmony 950. It works great! The hub keeps both remotes "in sync" so when I grab either remote, it's set to the current activity. Very satisfied with this as a companion remote.

Works nicely after configuration. It does take awhile to set up different arrangements. Works well with alexa

I can control my whole room with this one remote. It also lets me use voice control through Alexa. I can turn channels, adjust volume, or turn on/off many devices. It’s even better when on discount.

This remote replaced a Harmony One which I was very happy with but I wanted to integrate smart home features/devices. All functions work well, set-up is a breeze and app is spot on.

All my remotes are just backups in a drawers. This works great. It's simple. My wife loves it. The ones that DO more, COST a lot more. This is a good balance, taking into account the App on the cel if you want more control.

Takes a while to get everything installed but once done hub and controller works great

Love this purchase. I have this remote set up to all my items, surround, cable, TV, Blue Ray and everything else. It works like a charm and was easy to set up. Also, works with Alexa so I can just say "turn on TV"

I do wish the buttons would light up on this product but a great price and once you get use to where everything is you are fine.

Great idea and good product, just one remote control for everything. Sometimes I have to reprogram remote control

Love this remote , easy to installed the base and on the program end because I have the Geek Squad plan they are coming down to program my 5 remotes this week.

The remote and hub work great. Because my cable box is set to turn off after no activity, the cable box and TV turn off after a period of time. This results in the remote being out of "sync" with the TV and cable box, so I have to manually turn them on. My other Harmony remotes have a "Help" button which can fix issues like this. The hub integrates well with Amazon Echo and SmartThings, where I can turn on my devices and change channels using voice. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase.

This remote is great. It controls everything and it eliminates the need of multiple remotes. The only downside is that it won't turn on the PS4. you have to use the PS4 controller for that. Very easy to set up too.

I had an older version of the Harmony Companion but it stopped working so I bought a Caavo remote system. I could never get the Caavo working smoothly. It also would turn on the cable company’s DVR in the middle of the night, then in the morning the system was out of sync until I hit the power button on the DVR. I finally gave up on Caavo and bought this Harmony Companion - it just works! I had one glitch during setup because I lost my internet connection in the middle of the process. Once I signed in to my account, deleted the profile and started over it went flawlessly. The only complaint is I haven’t been able to get it to work with my Amazon Echo.

Easy setup and app is easy to use also. My wife had an adjustment period, but the 11 year old loved it

Great product. Love the wireless and the infrared. Many options for setup. Easy to use as well. Controls all my electronics right down to my portable heater and fans.

This thing just works so well. Takes some time to set up, but once you do, it works amazingly well. I love that the remote is Wi-Fi, so you don't need to aim it directly at your TV, which is tricky to do in my space.
