Help out those crazy renters

Somehow, with a 'standard' all-in-one remote, renters continuously got the system out of sync (no sound, wrong TV input, etc) that I would then have to walk them through over the phone. Now I can remotely fix whatever situation they may have gotten themselves into. And, I like to use it when I'm there...

Harmony remote

Also you have to wait til you get a vibration before you can screen up or down with the multipurpose button. I’d rather have a quick responding dedicated button.

Good Middle of the line infrared remote

One of the negatives is that it does not sync with the power or volume with the TV. We do like the fact that it let’s us keep our electrical components in a closet not under the TV.

Solid remote that provides vast functionality

The remote can support a sound system as well, but is limited beyond that. Make sure you have room for the hub since that is what sends the signals.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was nice to reduce the number of remotes we had to use for the TV, the Receiver (behind a closed cabinet door), the DVR, the DVD player, etc. All the functions are on the Harmony, and it only takes the tap of a button to get to any of the devices. If you have devices enclosed in a cabinet, make sure to purchase the correct model, as not all Harmony remotes come with the IR function.
