We bought this for my wife's podcasting. I am used to using mics and using some kind of interface to get the sound into the computer, but it would have too much trouble for her. I have other Blue microphones that I like so I bought this one. Very easy to use. Plug it in, go to the sound settings, choose it. and it worked! I showed her how to use it in 2 minutes. Sound was very good quality, I liked the headphone jack and sound controls on the mic. Also the various pickup patterns will be useful as I intend to use this for some location recording. Nice product.

This microphone has already served a great purpose. I was looking for a good mic to use as a Christmas for my younger brothers. They have ipads and they use garageband a lot! At first when i bought it, i thought i'd have to take it back to the store, until i realized that the usb plugin for computers (its a USB mic) could be converted to lightning cables with an adapter. Voila! Turns out that Best buy was also the ONLY store in a range of 10 miles that even had usb to lightning adapters! got an adapter as well the net day at the same store and went home on christmas eve very much satisfied and impressed with best buy in General.

The Yeti, is a very high fidelity microphone, it has tunable directionality, and maintains balance when even significantly off axis. I set it on my desk and can dictate with the best fidelity and accuracy I have ever experienced. t's easy to set up, merely connect the included cable into both the microphone and usb port on your PC. The instructions are very clear and briefly describes the different modes the microphone has. What I really like about it is that it also tells you what the different modes are recommended for.

After hours of trying to get my friends to hear me well with the mic on their headphones, I had to buy this mic. It feels good to talk to them, they all hear me well, and they like to play with me just to hear my precious voice.

Really good sound quality and a lot of adjustability. The mic can record from both sides of the capsule at once, if so desired. Love the gain control and the individual volume adjustment for plugged in headphone audio. One of my favorite things about the mic is the dedicated, physical mute button. It's a bit bulky, so trying to figure out how to keep it from obstructing vision during gaming sessions is a little tricky, but it definitely gets the job done. FYI, the blue one is almost always 20-30 bucks cheaper. It wasn't the color I wanted, but for a lower price, I'm not complaining.

I bought this microphone for my wife to use in her online webinars and classes. This mic is excellent for her and has greatly improved the audio quality of her sessions. She is amazed at the added quality, especially when she reviews the recordings. We have tried all of the different patterns, based on the type of session she is doing, and it works great across the board. There are better microphones out there, but for the price, this one gives the best bang for the buck. We definitely recommend this microphone! It is a great bargain.

Excellent microphone sound quality just be mindful it’s a condenser mic so it’ll be sensitive to an outdoor sounds. If you don’t have a quiet room then consider a dynamic mic

I've had this for a little over a year and it definitely gets the job done for the price point. Once you get proper control of the gain and pattern, you're pretty much good to go. I'm not a microphone expert, just some light streaming and discord calls with buddies, so all I can really say is that it was easy to set up and get acquainted with to get ready to go. I will say that after about 3 months I started having issues my connectivity. It seemed like it was connecting and reconnecting over and over and I couldn't figure out why. After doing some research online, I substituted the mic stand that it came with, with a cheap boom arm from Amazon and it completely fixed that problem. I've had no issues ever since. Truly a decent microphone.

Easy to use, it does capture EVERY sound even if it’s not in the room so be aware of that.

This is my first actual microphone I’ve bought. I got it for school and work meetings/classes and it has yet to disappoint. Sound is great and it’s easy to set up. I did get a boom arm for it off of Amazon as the stand is quite large and my desk is already ridiculously crowded and it really keeps it off to the side and out of the way! Now I just need a shock mount for it. Seriously great mic that’s good for even podcasting or nonsense talking with your friends. I’m right next to a loud road and it doesn’t pick up any of the noise!

I needed a mic to use to narrate online training classes. This was the best mic that I could find locally, and I was in a rush to meet a work deadline. All in all I am happy with the quality of the mic. I have not had a problem with "pops", even without a pop guard. There is a setting on the mic that supposedly isolates the mic to pick up sound only from the front of the mic. I wish this worked better. Even with the Gain set very low, it picks up background noise, like the sound of the air coming through the air duct in the wall, and the CPU's fan, even though both of those sound sources are behind the mic. It worked flawlessly with my Mac, and setup was very easy. The instructions that came with it are thorough and useful, and the associate at the Best Buy store who helped me was terrific.

I have to say for the price this is amazing. I had a less expensive one but ended up returning it and get this one. I'm glad I did. It works so well. Quality at its finest. Have used it for over two years and I don't need an upgrade like I have everything else. You'll enjoy this one.

This is definitely a bang for your buck mic. Quality, built and versatility. This is the mic you should get especially at its price point, I think its the best there is out there.

Bought this mic for my wife to use with Discord for gaming online. It was an easy mic to set up. It is very sturdy and stable - the cats cannot knock it over when walking over the desk. No one has ever had any negative comments about the sound quality online when she uses it. The only negative is that sometimes she accidentally hits the mute button on the mic. Fortunately it has a red light on the button that flashes to tell us when it is muted. Also, wished that it came with the optional Foam Mic Cover (sold separately by Blue Microphones)
