How can anyone say it's bad?

This mic has several different modes and each one changes the way it records. Most people speak to the top of the Microphone which is NOT how this works. Have the blue symbol facing your lips and speak directly into the microphone at chin level. Turn on cardoid mode and if it sounds too loud turn down the mic gain and try again

Easy as opening a box

It's a little difficult to attach a pop screen, but not impossible. Other than the mic being all around a good device, the customer service at bestbuy was the icing on the cake.
