We bought this for all the Zoom meetings and hearings during the pandemic. Too many people on many of our meetings we unintelligible or barely audible on many of the hearings, likely due to poor microphones, and we did not want to happen to us. This has worked great. There are multiple options for the mic that change the sound and how it is picked up and you can plug headphones into the back of the mic to know exactly how you sound. It seems to be very well made and sturdy. Very happy with this selection.

While Blue Microphone's Yeti isn't the cheapest USB microphone out there, it's an excellent choice if you're looking to upgrade from a more basic microphone. I saw this microphone was on sale for 100.00 and took too long to decide to get it..When I finally decided to get it it was back up to 149.00 I keep checking hoping it will go on sale again. I looked online and it was at a nearby Best Buy store. I brought it home plugged it in and started recording! it was that easy and the sound quality is great. I use it to record solos for my horn students. I talk and use a metronome then play the solo. The microphone recorded those different sound levels with no difficulty The speaking is very clear, the metronome is loud enough for the student to hear and use to keep the beat with me and the horn sound did not overpower the mic.

I bought this to do voice overlays on some of the videos I make for my KayakHacksFishing channel on Youtube. I choked at the price, but am glad I bought this. The mic allows you to select various modes of recording and I quickly found the one that produced the best for me. Nice clear reproduction. In addition, I found that Dragon NaturallySpeaking makes fewer errors when I dictate now that I have a better microphone.

Excellent investment if you do Zoom conference calls! You will be heard even if at the back of a 25’ x 25’ conference room. Easy to install and use!
