The medium score reflects the fact that there may be better products for you. For my purposes, for example, I may have been better off using the money to buy multiple lavalier mics. Others may want a non-USB option, in which case you may want to look at Pro models. But otherwise the Blue Yeti appears versatile and tough. I could wish for small design changes but very likely you'll be able to do what you want with this mic with a little bit of research and adjusting. It also looks impressive on your desk.

Love this mic and the audio quality is very good. The only negative is that randoms in game lobbies complain that my mic is too loud because it picks up my AC noise, but let that be a testament to the good audio quality. Highly recommend.

Had this mic once before in black but had to return it because I lived with others and it picked up the background. Now that I live alone it is a great choice. Got it on sale too, in blue.

This Blue Yeti mic has been hands down one of the best purchases I have done for a mic to record voice overs and youtube videos. I did a lot of research on mics and decided to go with this one because of all the good stuff that I watched on youtube as well as the reviews on the product itself.

Bright, full-range sound for all of my Zoom meetings, gain control, headphone volume control and a very handy "cough" button. All this, plus multiple pickup patterns, durable construction and distinctive looks. Really good value for the money.

In a nutshell, I bought this because I needed a good mike for my computer. This is a VERY good mike. Probably too good for me. If you are a professional Youtuber or need a VERY good mike, then get this one. It is pretty big and has a professional feel and look. You won't be disappointed. It is that good.
