Easy to configure online. Makes switching between devices seamless. Only challenge is the All off button does not always turn everything off. However, if you manually turn off (with remote - manually switching to the device) before you hit the watch TV button, then the group of devices all turn on. If not the device left on toggles off when you hit watch tv button. Just one extra step to ensure seamless use of group of devices on one remote. All in all great unit for the price.

This is the second one I purchased. I have and older 650 and have never had a problem with them not working. Easy to setup and use only makes sense to buy one.

My McIntosh tube preamp remote died and replacements are not available. On review I bought this Logitech 650 to replace it. The data for my preamp is in the database and it was easy to import it. I then imported the LG OLED TV and the Logitech Soundbar into the remote. It works perfectly and without going into wordy detail, if you first think about what you want to do with this remote, it is extremely easy to use and logical. You do though have to think... You have to decide which item you want to control and then go to that item. You then have to decide which function you want to use and then select that function. Obviously no device can think for you and you have to tell it what to do. But it will do it. You push the same buttons every time to get the same result. My GF is as smart or smarter than me but she can't work it because she is too lazy to use common sense with the remote, she always hands it to me to make the adjustments. Takes all of 5 seconds of button pushing to choose the device & select the function and use the function. So if anyone says it's too complicated, it's because they're lazy and don't like to use common sense. It really is super easy to use.

The price was right and it controls all my devices. Only need one remote now. Easy to set up.

We have two of these remotes, this new one works well, sometimes things get confused and you have to use the "help" function to get all the devices turned on and set correctly. Another issue is with the "mute" command, this is more an issue with the actual device, but you have to work around it. Basically the mute command is a toggle for mute on/off for the TV. The remote does not "know" if the TV is muted or not, so if you had the device on with the sound muted, when you use a receiver or soundbar for the sound, turn it off, turn it back on, using the activity (TV+Receiver) it will send the mute command again, unmuting the TV, not what you want. To work around this I just added a specific command to the remote to mute the TV even if the sound is from the receiver, so don't use the dedicated "mute" button on the remote but program one of the soft buttons. Our other Harmony 650 will reboot by itself, this seems to be a common problem, I got is mostly fixed by adding a bit of tape to the battery compartment door, pressing the batteries down a bit.

This really simplified things, and cut down on batteries for the 10 remotes it replaces. Simple to set up and use.

Great and not too difficult to set up and now I can store my other FIVE remotes that I was always misplacing....

I own 4 of this model remote. It is hard to beat for the price if you want a harmony but still a traditional remote instead of using your smart phone or tablet.

Great remote, it's my second one. Only thing that I can say bad about the remote is it seems to go thru batteries.

This remote, though not perfect, did prove to be a life saver. We'd recently purchased a 55" HDTV who's features were unresponsive to conventional programming - particularly the "input" and "volume" features, causing us to use multiple remotes for DVD viewing & volume control. (What a drag!) I began a hard-target search for a solution and came to Best Buy, where the store attendant all but guaranteed thet the Harmony 650 by Logitech would resolve the input-volume issues, which it did!

This is my second universal remote purchase. Very easy to set up online...and easy to update setting as needed.

This is my second Logitech remote and I am still using the first. It was easy to set up with the PC interface app. It works as advertised and is easy to use. I hope it is as durable as my first which is over 10 years old. I have not needed to fine tune it. It turns all 4 components on and off as well as controlling volume and channel. Very handy gadget for multiple device owners!!!

These devices are great. I struggled with all the remotes to operate just to watch a movie. Now I just hit one button and the Harmony does it all for me! Love it!

I love the fact that I don't need 3 controls anymore! My only complaint is the printing on the control is too small.

The software was easy to download. It found my tv, my blue ray player, my Verizon dvr, and sound system without any problems. I went from four remotes to one.

We had two in the house before we bought 2 more, the Logitech works every time, you can have your TV, CD, DVD, speakers, Cable, etc, all programed into the Logitech and only have one remote control. The first two were 6 years old my husband used his so much watching sports he rubbed the numbers off. I just thought I needed a new one even though the old one stilled worked just fine.

Excellent automated programming makes this device a pleasure to set-up and use. Plug into your personal computer, download the application and easy to follow step by step program instructions assist you in setting up the device for your application. It's automated "fix the problem" when you select "Watch TV" or "Watch a movie" and one or more of the components (receiver, Blu-Ray, TV etc) does not turn on, the help button works extremely well in correcting the issue.

Being able to re-sync and re-orient using the self-help feature makes this unit worth the cost. Notwithstanding using only one remote to control all devices.

This remote takes the place of 5 (so far) and does a great job. It took a short time to program it, but functions for each of the other remotes and no problems!

Super easy to set up and I love the programmable functions. This is a fantastic, high-quality, universal remote that won't break the bank.
