Once I got past the somewhat complicated machinations, the remote works well. My TV controls ahve to be done with the Dish remote because the receiver is in another room (UHF). Probably should have thought of that earlier. Anyway, it does the job well. Can't see the little screen without glasses, but that's just age. All in all, a good tool for what we needed (to get rid of a couple of remotes).

This remote was easy to set up and works with all devices. It is also at a fair price.

I bought this remote as a present for my mother-in-law to replace an older Harmony remote that I also bought for her as a present. I have a Harmony in every room that has a TV or a stereo. I love them. They are just so easy to understand and to use that they just can't be beat. Also, every remote should have backlit buttons. Why is this even a thing in the year 2019? Anyway, perfect remote for me. Did I mention that I love Harmony remotes?

This is the best device since the invention of Television. This remote will save husbands and boyfriends everywhere from being nagged on why the TV won't work. I could not ask for a simpler remote to program and use. You want to watch TV? Just press the Watch TV button. What? You want to watch a movie? OK then press the Watch a Movie button. Who simple is that? What the TV did not turn on? Press Help and the remote will walk you through troubleshooting!!!! Darn if all technology was this easy, we would have solved World Hunger and World Peace!

I had to set up an easy way for my mom to operate her 3 devices to watch TV or movies. I had used many "cheap" remotes and had gone thru two in desperation to find an easy way for her to operate all the buttons needed once all the devices were on. I gave up and spent the money on this one and was glad I did! In minutes, I was up and running and Mom's tutorial was short. She pushes one button to turn the devices on for an activity and then all the buttons on the remote work accordingly such as stopping the movie, pausing, fast foward, etc.

Ergonomic and so easy to set up. Having the set-up wizard where you identify your components then have the codes download via a PC was just fabulous. The last remote I programmed required you to enter codes from a table and keep trying until you found the one that worked best. The button layout and color screen controls are all well placed. I am so glad I gave this a try. Four remotes down to one with no loss of functionality or ease of use.

I wanted a remote that would be easier for my wife and kids to use. Not all remotes work perfect all the time and it can be frustrating for those not technically savvy. If something doesn't turn on properly when your turning everything on, (t.v., surround sound, cable box) the remote will walk you through it again to get it resolved. My wife and kids like this so it was a good purchase for me.

Removed the clutter and inconvenience of multiple remotes. The only way to go one push of a button and 3 devices on. Love the help button!

I would have given it 5 stars except for the software that you use to program this. I have 2 Logitech 650's and the software will only add one so I have to do so shuffling to program the 1st one then reverse it for the second one. Overall, a great little remote. Eats batteries so use rechargeable batteries.

This remote is extremely easy to set up and very intuitive to use. Batteries supplied are not rechargeable but that's an easy fix. Capable of learning basically any device and the app makes setup a breeze. Highly recommended!

Purchased this remote while on sale for a second TV in the house. I already have one for the main TV and loved it so much I needed another. The options are limitless on what you can program, so its worth the extra money.

With the Harmony I control a Pioneer Receiver a Dish Hopper a Roku a Nuvision TV and a Pioneer Blu Ray Player. Although there is a bit of a learning curve. the Harmony does in fact allow me to control all these devices.

This remote is very easy to program and use with all my devices. Very flexible when it comes to types of devices supported.

This remote does what it says. Operates multiple devices. Easy to program using the web based GUI. Once it was programmed and working I have not touched any of the remotes it replaced. A must have for Videp and audiophiles.

Logitech has the best database of devices hands down. The remote is relatively easy to setup and program. It might take a few times playing around to see how you really want the buttons to work for you. This remote does have learning capability should a function not be in the device database. Personally, I like that fact that it has batteries. Every 2-3 months it takes 30 seconds to put new batteries and you're all set.

Great for a all in one controller set up is easy and the USB hook up is the best , plus you can always go back update or change any device.

This is my first programmable remote and I can't believe I waited so long to own one. My wife has always complained about the number of remotes laying around......no longer. It's easy to program and use. The built in troubleshooting tool is awesome. Should you encounter a problem controlling a device, the remote asks you questions then takes actions to cure the issue. Too easy. I also like the way it wakes up when you move it. There's a built in movement sensor that lights up the remote when there's motion. All around great product.

I was a bit sceptacle when I first purchased this controller for my entertainment system. However, after reading the instructions for setup and getting onto my laptop as instructed to download the setup software (which now resides in my laptop) I was pleasantly surprised. you do need to go through each device that you want programmed into the controller and need the make and model numbers off the equipment labels (have to read the small print labels on each device). Other than getting those numbers correct, the rest was pretty easy.

Got this during a pre-Black Friday deal at a great price. I've always wanted to buy a Harmony remote but they were always too expensive. This one is one of their simpler models but is just fine for my A/V setup. Tried programming the remote with my Windows 8 laptop but the device driver used by the webpage doesn't seem to work. I had to go to my old Windows 7 laptop which had no problem programming the remote. Otherwise the setup/programming is very easy. I'm happy with the use of the remote. My family is very happy with it as well.

The Logitech Harmony 650 is an excellent universal remote. I recently added the universal remote to my new home theatre system. Best Buy / Geek Squad came and programmed the remote for us – which I highly recommend. It is very easy to use, the buttons and display screen are very similar to my cable remote. We have 6 devices connected to the system and it is simple to access and control all on them from the one remote.
