I would definitely suggest getting Geek Squad Protection! Our cat broke one of the keys off 2 days after getting it, and they fixed it for zero cost and hassle.

My husband bought his first laptop, and wanted protection that he wouldn't need to worry about very much. Best Buy's Geek Squad had a very good reputation. The Best Buy is two miles from the house, and he wanted to make certain he could get help if I wasn't home. He hasn't used the repair function of the warranty protection, However, the Geek Squad team has answered his questions when they aren't too busy.
