I needed a new laptop and this had just come out. I was looking for something around the $600 range so this fit in my budget. All the Windows laptops I looked at in this price range had build quality that were less than stellar, being all plastic. This did the trick and the aluminum feels very premium. It handles everything I've thrown at it so far, so the phone chip hasn't been an issue. Overall I'm glad I made this purchase.

I love the size, it's easy to take anywhere. It's my first Mac Book and I am enjoying exploring all the features and how it differs from a Windows environment. I like being able to take it to use on the sofa or a chair to read books or shop on line. I don't need to be tied to one location with it.

I love my new Macbook Neo. The experiance I had at Best Buy was amazing! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I did not feel rushed or pressure to buy something. The Geek Squad amazing he answered all my questions, showed me how to work my new MacBook

The MacBook neo is an amazing laptop for the price especially for video and photo editing with Final Cut and photoshop it ran better than any other laptop at this price

Great little laptop. It does everything I want out of it plus. Did my taxes on it and no problems. For the prices this computer is miles of ahead of the competition. It is perfect for on the go.

admittedly an apple fanboy but would think that would serve as a detriment to purchasing this, as I am used to the MacBook pro lineup for the past 20 years. This lived up to the name at an incredible price for younger students.
