I bought this for my son for his birthday. They use Chromebooks at school, so this was perfect for him. His complaint at first was that it doesn’t have a touch screen, but that doesn’t bother me at all, and he has gotten used to it. This has all the functionality that he needs and no extras that he doesn’t.

I like this product because it is not Bulky for being a notebook. Like other laptops this packs a powerhouse of free apps based on the google platform that allows you to save the items on your google drive that you can share with others. Sharing specific files and not the whole drive or do both.

I like the light weight laptop and touch screen. Track pad is to sensitive and I can't seem to adjust the level for it. Screen resolution is decent. Tana good comp for business usage not more.

Bought it for a middle school student and it did exactly what we needed it to do. Great product but then the screen cracked after a year and there is no cheap way of fixing it. Have to buy a new laptop.

First of all, it goes without saying that the Chromebook is NOT Windows or Mac OS-based—many people seem to return this item because of this misconception. It is actually an internet device meant for people who only need computing power for basic tasks like web browsing, email, or web apps (apps you can use through a web browser—like Google Docs, Google Maps, Netflix, Hulu etc.). You can still use Microsoft Office, but only the web-based version of it for example. There is also a Chrome web store to add extensions and access to additional web-app functionality. File Storage: All of your files are saved on the cloud, which means you can access them from any computer since they're stored on your Google account. Printing: You can print from Chromebooks as long as you're using a wifi enabled printer. Google has a list of cloud-ready printers. Peripherals: This Chromebook is Bluetooth-enabled so you can feel free to buy a bluetooth-enabled mouse or speakers for it. It already has pretty decent built-in speakers. Individual experience: My elderly father found it very easy and intuitive to use. It's also a great fit for senior citizens since it boots up really fast, you can customize shortcuts onto the bottom taskbar (Chrome, Gmail, Docs, Youtube, Help icon), and the fact that it can't download traditional programs from the internet minimizes its vulnerability to getting viruses (ChromeOS is Linux-based, notably known for its solid security).

This purchase was for my 12 year old son and he loves it. It powers on and off super fast. It has built in virus protection so you don't have to worry about paying extra for that.

Does what a laptop should do without problems. Added bonus, all my passwords and documents were there from my google account so I didn't have to save and transfer info from my old chromebook. Would have a 5 star if they didn't take away the usb port.
