Good buy. MacBook never fails. Amazing performance. I’m a first time Mac user yet it has been easy to adapt to.

The performance is insane. I can have 47 tabs open, Spotify playing, a 4K video exporting, and still feel judged silently by no fan sound. It doesn’t overheat it just whispers disappointment when I make poor financial decisions. The keyboard is buttery smooth. Every keystroke sounds like Apple personally approves of what I’m typing even when it’s just “google.com” for the 14th time today. Overpriced? Yes. Worth it? Also yes. Apple wins.

Loving my new mac so far. Downside I was hoping the new one was slimmer and light weight instead its actually more weight and thicker. But thats my fault for not going to check out first before buying like I always do. This is my third macbook pro. Its fast and reliable. I havent ran any heavy programs but so far its handling many browsers and applications at same time just fine.

I’m coming from a 2015 MB Pro. The hardware was fine, but software updates stopped in 2024 which brought me to Beat Buy for a new computer. Everything about this is awesome. It’s incredibly fast and the M5 chip makes this future proof for another 10 years. Previous PCs only last 3-4 years, had significant bloatware, had software errors, and customization I didn’t need/use. This product is high end, secure, is easy to use and just works when you use it. Pro all the way!

Coming from a 2018 MacBook Pro, this 2025 M5 model feels like a huge leap forward. Performance is incredibly fast, everything is smooth, and even demanding tasks run effortlessly. Battery life is noticeably better, and the laptop stays cool and quiet. The design is familiar, but the speed and efficiency alone make it 100% worth the upgrade. Highly recommended if you’re on an older Intel MacBook.

M5 chip is worth the price on the mbp. I got the space black color and it looks amazing. The laptop itself is rugged enough.

The overall purchase experience was disappointing at first. I was standing in line when an employee asked if I had a pickup. After I confirmed that I did, he pulled me out of the queue. However, once he noticed that I also had a trade-in, he sent me back to the line instead of assisting me or directing me properly. Later, Maya stepped in and completely turned the experience around. She was professional, attentive, and genuinely helpful. She even asked why I had waited in line despite having a pickup, and I explained what had happened earlier. Her concern and willingness to help made a significant difference. While I understand it was a busy Black Friday weekend, it was frustrating to see several other employees standing around and not actively helping customers. In contrast, Maya appeared overworked but remained positive, efficient, and customer-focused throughout. Maya truly went above and beyond and deserves recognition—and honestly, a promotion. She was the reason this experience ended on a positive note.

Works well, as expected. Out of the box, the power cord was defective (flashing orange light and wouldn't charge battery), but Best Buy Geek Squad helped me obtain a replacement quickly. I had a 16-inch MacBook Pro previously that had a touch bar, and I miss the touch bar, but other than that, no problems. It was far less expensive than the newest 16-inch.

Purchased this during the Black Friday sale. First time owning a MacBook, and I love it. Battery will last for a couple days. I use this for casual internet searching and work. So far this has exceeded my expectations. My old laptop was windows and this is my first time using apple as a computer. I have an iPhone which works great for mirroring and getting text messages that come through my laptop.

Old MacBook Air not the dust and just happened during the new M5 release. Absolutely love this MacBook. It’s been a while since i owned one in college and it was the upgraded I never understood I needed. I don’t need extremely advanced uses, so could get away with an Air. But I can tell you spend slightly more on a product that is going to last for much longer. Every MacBook I’ve owned lasts for 8 years minimum with daily use. My air bit the dust after 4 years.
