The Mac book I received was definitely worth it!!!

Switching over from the Windows ecosystem, I have to say—this laptop feels like moving from traffic on I-85 straight onto an empty Autobahn. It’s smooth, fast, and so polished it almost feels illegal. The M5 chip? Honestly, it performs so well I keep wondering if Apple secretly installed a tiny superhero inside. Apps launch instantly, multitasking is buttery, and there’s absolutely zero lag—like, “did it even think about loading?” zero. The Liquid Retina display with 120 Hz refresh rate is another show-off feature. Photos and videos look so crisp that even my old vacation pictures suddenly seem professionally shot. Battery life? Charge it once, forget the charger, and live your best life for the rest of the day. And despite throwing some stress at it—gaming, 4K streaming—it stays impressively quiet, as if it’s meditating through the workload. Overall, it’s an excellent laptop and a joy to use. Yes, it’s pricier than most Windows machines—but honestly, it performs like it knows it’s expensive.

I’m really happy I decided to switch to the 14-inch instead of the 16-inch. It's super lightweight and way easier to carry around for someone like me who is always on the go. Old MacBook Air not the dust and just happened during the new M5 release. Absolutely love this MacBook. It’s been a while since i owned one in college and it was the upgraded I never understood I needed. I don’t need extremely advanced uses, so could get away with an Air. But I can tell you spend slightly more on a product that is going to last for much longer. Every MacBook I’ve owned lasts for 8 years minimum with daily use. My air bit the dust after 4 years.

Absolutely stellar performance for my major applications. I use it for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and it handles them both with ease. I also use it for running Serato Pro and all of my Native Instruments applications. I used to run an ASUS Zenbook Duo Pro, and this macbook handles the applications significantly better at half the price.
