Still getting to know the product hence the 4-stars. Been using Macbook Pros since 2014 hence super familiar and comfortable using this. Loving the liquid retina XDR and the magic keyboard that truly complement the super fast M5 inside. The SSD is a lot silent than my previous machine. Haven't really felt the need to use the much touted Apple Intelligence but again its early days.

Picked the 14" cause it's perfect for the size.Also m5 upgrade was way better from my 2012.only thing i don't like about it is it gets scratched way to easy now.Other than that everything was great and it was on sale when i got it Black Friday.

I upgraded from my 2022 MacBook Air with the M2 chip. This was a well deserved upgrade for daily use. It’s twice as heavy or feels like it however it is nasty in the spec sheet. No regrets for 50% more price

I thiught my old 2017 macbook pro was something but this mac is nice. So fast. I let my husband test it out and he said he may be purchasing him a new mac.

I like apple products because I think the security is most likely better than the Microsoft laptops. If I loose the laptop or it is stolen I have more faith that hackers cannot access the hard drive without the password than I do with a microsoft laptop. Also with Apple I don't have to separately purchase anti virus software apple supplies all that with their OS online upgrades. In addition Apple offers a human help line I can call Microsoft does not offer that. In addition Best Buy was the best place to buy the laptop because I got $185.00 towards future Best Buy purchases - if I had bought this laptop in an Apple Store I would not have gotten that.

Bought the open box MacBook Pro and it works perfectly fine. The sales staff were very helpful and knowledgeable.

Good computer for computer science masters student. Upgraded from my 2019 macbook pro.

This works well, Best Buy did a good job of getting it to me. Nothing wrong with the way it looks. My issue is with Apple and the product design. I am used to HP and Dell laptops but switched because I heard MacBooks are good for music production, but then I get it to find out that there are no USB-A ports? So much of my music production equipment has USB wires so I had to buy an adapter (which isn't the end of the world, but still super annoying). What is also annoying is that everything else is a USB-C EXCEPT THE CHARGER which is a weird third thing that is specific to just this Macbook. Every other laptop I have is charged by USB-C and has USB-C, USB, USB-A, and HDMI inputs/outputs. I don't super understand why Apple hasn't picked up on what is standard everywhere else.

Honestly a great improvement from my Macbook pro M1. So glad I upgraded really helps with the video and photo editing that I do for work and with the newer chip it can support multiple screens

While not a heavy computer user, I try to stay current with my equipment. I moved from a MacBook Air with a M3 to a Pro with a M5. Noticeable difference in the speed and feel the screen and sound is improved. Glad I made the change.

Upgrading to a MacBook Pro is easily one of the smartest decisions I’ve made. For almost 5 years, I carried a bulky laptop everywhere, assuming power always had to come with weight. This machine proved me wrong it’s unbelievably light, insanely fast, and handles everything I throw at it without slowing me down. It’s not just a laptop upgrade, it’s a daily quality-of-life upgrade. Once you experience this level of performance and portability, there’s no going back.

I first had a Mac Pro 13" that was too small. I tried a Mac air 15" that was too cumbersome. This Mac Pro 14" is perfect. Yes the Goldilocks syndrome. I'm still learning many features. but the M5 chip is extremely fast. Great Black Friday deal.

I love my new MacBook Pro. The display is an inch bigger. The outside is an inch shorter and it weighs a pound less than the 10 year old one I replaced. And I didn’t have to drive across town to get it.

Bought this to replace my wife's aging MacBook Air. It's been a huge upgrade to run her small business. The setup and being able to move her files from her old machine to the new one was quick and easy. Haven't found an app that it doesn't run effortlessly.

I am enjoying the MacBook Pro a lot. I am learning to work with it as a desktop unit as well as the powerful laptop that it is.
