The Space Black finish looks sleek and premium without being flashy. Battery life has also been impressive, easily lasting through a full day of everyday use. She really likes the keyboard and trackpad, which are both excellent. Typing feels natural, and the trackpad is precise and responsive. macOS runs flawlessly on this hardware, and overall it just feels solid and reliable. It’s powerful without feeling bulky or overkill, and light enough to carry around easily. So far, it’s been a perfect balance of performance, design, and ease of use. Very happy with this purchase.

I had previously been using a 2017 MacBook Pro. I could tell that I needed to purchase a new one, as the old computer kept over heating. I had to keep it plugged in all the time. I purchased this particular model with the M5 chip and it runs like a dream. I can do everything I need to for work and it handles all online work without any issues. It stays cool and won’t overheat. The best part is the long-lasting battery. I can use it for days before I have to charge it. (I don’t use it all day long, but I am using it quite a bit throughout each day.) I had read some reviews about the MacBooks overheating if they had the M4 chip. I had planned to get the M2, as there didn’t seem to be any complaints about them. I am so happy that I found this newest model. It appears from the product description that this M5 was just released this year (2025). I absolutely love this laptop. I am so glad I purchased this product. I was able to get it on sale during the Black Friday Sale. I ordered it on the Best Buy app and when I got to the store I was able to go in and pick it up very quickly. The whole process was quick and easy. Thank you Best Buy!

I’m really happy I decided to switch to the 14-inch instead of the 16-inch. It's super lightweight and way easier to carry around for someone like me who is always on the go. The laptop has been functioning flawlessly and keeps up with the demands I need it to perform so definitely worth the upgrade from my old MacBook Pro.

After much deliberation... I Took advantage of the Best Buy Trade-in program to upgrade from a base model spec M2 Air 13 inch to the Pro M5 14 inch. Until this I had been telling everyone that the base model MacBook Air is the place that most people need to be. But for me - I was noticing with the M2 Air that when I was doing a lot of graphic intense things (4K external monitor, combined with screen sharing in Teams) that I was getting significant slowdowns. Upgraded to the M5, and that problem totally went away! Truth? In 2025 and 2026 - unless you have a REALLY COMPELLING reason to buy a Windows-based laptop you should just bite the bullet. Spend the money. Get something good. And the MacBook M5 Pro is good.

Favorite computer I have ever used!!! Great for me as a college student. I also highly recommend the M5 processor it is very speedy and good for ai! Ai is here to stay so we might as well use it for good and this computer is great for it! I love the Touch ID as It is also super easy to use Apple Pay for online purchases! I got it in silver I reccomend the silver one if you are a silver girlie like me. I feel like a baddie and like I have made it when I use this in a coffee shop LOL very pretentious! The 14 inch is really big and a perfect size for me as well if you are wondering what size you should get it is very good and more than sufficient for every day use. It is so fast and very efficient in getting all my life tasks done!

Bought this to replace an older version and my son couldn’t be happier with this. He’s a mechanical engineering student and this computer is perfect for his needs. Looks like and no issues. Great speed. Amazing quality.

I’ve owned an Intel-based 2017 MacBook Pro that I would daily use from my college days. Given Apple no longer provides updates for this Mac I’ve started to wonder if an upgrade is worth pursuing given my dated Mac. Apple Silicon is something I’ve heard great things of and while debating if I should get a M4 MB air or pro I decided to go with the M5 simply for the newer chip. My workload doesn’t require a more powerful chip (Max or Ultra) so for me the standard M5 will do the trick. So far I’ve had nothing but a great experience with my new Mac having it only for a little less than a month. I’m sure it’ll live on and expect to get may years of use from this Mac.

Amazing laptop I love it so much it’s really the best

I had recently purchased a MacBook Pro 14-inch from Best Buy. The staff were helpful and answered all my questions. The pickup process was quick—I was in and out in just a few minutes. The MacBook was in perfect condition, sealed and exactly as described. The laptop has been working flawlessly. It is fast and awesome! I love this laptop. Overall, great experience and I’ll definitely keep buying my electronics from Best Buy. By the way, last week I bought another laptop as well. Excellent service from Bestbuy.

This is my second MacBook Pro I owned, the first one made in mid 2014 is still working flawlessly, The only reason why I am getting a new one is because Microsoft 365 could not work on it alluding that the hardware was too old. I hope this one is going to last as long as the first one. It has new features like the finger print reader. I prefer Apple products versus Windows base as they are faster, seamless software updates and integration with my iPhone and iPad. The Windows base computers are a pain, hate them when they stop for updates.
