The M5 chip paired with 16GB of RAM makes switching between a bunch of browser tabs and apps feel really smooth and effortless. It's also great for endless doom-scrolling on image-heavy sites. The Mac doesn't get hot, and the cooling fan rarely engages.

Love the increased speed especially on the internet for shopping. Also the increase graphics are so much easier on my eyes. The lighter unit is more pleasant to work with over extended time of use.

This is my first Macbook and it was perfect out of the box. All the items were there. Setup took some time since I was a Windows guy for many years. Once I set it up, extremely fast and responsive. Small screen, but vibrant colors. I will test it next spring when I have to travel to my residency. It should do the job for me.

As you would expect with any Apple product, this work horse is sleek and gorgeous, and PACKED with POWER! Lightning fast, a multi-tasking monster, with a battery that lasts 24 hours plus! I use it for graphic design and frequently have multiple Adobe programs going simultaneously. This unit is built for it! A great machine!

Great machine with performance and battery life. A little more expensive than MacBook Air m4. However a got upgrade m5 chip, better display and few extra ports for connectivity especially hdmi

Still getting to know the product hence the 4-stars. Been using Macbook Pros since 2014 hence super familiar and comfortable using this. Loving the liquid retina XDR and the magic keyboard that truly complement the super fast M5 inside. The SSD is a lot silent than my previous machine. Haven't really felt the need to use the much touted Apple Intelligence but again its early days.

Great to have a faster laptop. Love the new features including the fingerprint access to passwords. It was great to get my computer right away and not have to wait for it to arrive. So easy to setup and get started using it. So nice to have the charge last several days.

After much deliberation... I Took advantage of the Best Buy Trade-in program to upgrade from a base model spec M2 Air 13 inch to the Pro M5 14 inch. Until this I had been telling everyone that the base model MacBook Air is the place that most people need to be. But for me - I was noticing with the M2 Air that when I was doing a lot of graphic intense things (4K external monitor, combined with screen sharing in Teams) that I was getting significant slowdowns. Upgraded to the M5, and that problem totally went away! Truth? In 2025 and 2026 - unless you have a REALLY COMPELLING reason to buy a Windows-based laptop you should just bite the bullet. Spend the money. Get something good. And the MacBook M5 Pro is good.

Absolutely loving the new mac! The processing speed is incredible, perfect size screen for portability and in office use. Very happy overall with this purchase!

What a laptop! The battery lasts forever! Incredibly fast. And a magnetic charging plug and socket for safety. And the latest M5 processor so it will be supported for at least a decade.

Amazing performance with super fast speed and smooth multitasking. The display is gorgeous, battery life is excellent, and it handles everything I throw at it without any lag. Definitely worth the investment.

I have been using for college its the best easy light and can get all my work done no problems. Really great buy for the price and works so well.

My 2013 MacBook Pro was showing its age with battery life and Apple is no longer supporting Big Sur so it was time to upgrade. Wow - what a difference this M5 chip makes compared to the old intel. I went to the store to compare this model with the 15” Air. The screen and sound system is Amazing! That is what helped me settle in this model. The only surprise I got was this 14” model is the same physical size as my old 2013 model. I haven’t heard the fan kick on yet so can’t comment on that. Overall very pleased with my decision.

Amazing MacBook upgrade the battery life is incredible the M5 chip is amazingly fast, perfect for travel definitely recommend getting the higher storage there is so much to do on this device

Upgraded from 2020 MacBook Pro M1 and it’s night and day! Such amazing speeds and just phenomenal how it can handle many programs opened at once, image quality is amazing, battery life last all day! I definitely recommend this MacBook to anyone!

Favorite computer I have ever used!!! Great for me as a college student. I also highly recommend the M5 processor it is very speedy and good for ai! Ai is here to stay so we might as well use it for good and this computer is great for it! I love the Touch ID as It is also super easy to use Apple Pay for online purchases! I got it in silver I reccomend the silver one if you are a silver girlie like me. I feel like a baddie and like I have made it when I use this in a coffee shop LOL very pretentious! The 14 inch is really big and a perfect size for me as well if you are wondering what size you should get it is very good and more than sufficient for every day use. It is so fast and very efficient in getting all my life tasks done!
