After much deliberation... I Took advantage of the Best Buy Trade-in program to upgrade from a base model spec M2 Air 13 inch to the Pro M5 14 inch. Until this I had been telling everyone that the base model MacBook Air is the place that most people need to be. But for me - I was noticing with the M2 Air that when I was doing a lot of graphic intense things (4K external monitor, combined with screen sharing in Teams) that I was getting significant slowdowns. Upgraded to the M5, and that problem totally went away! Truth? In 2025 and 2026 - unless you have a REALLY COMPELLING reason to buy a Windows-based laptop you should just bite the bullet. Spend the money. Get something good. And the MacBook M5 Pro is good.

Amazing performance with super fast speed and smooth multitasking. The display is gorgeous, battery life is excellent, and it handles everything I throw at it without any lag. Definitely worth the investment.

I first had a Mac Pro 13" that was too small. I tried a Mac air 15" that was too cumbersome. This Mac Pro 14" is perfect. Yes the Goldilocks syndrome. I'm still learning many features. but the M5 chip is extremely fast. Great Black Friday deal.

I recently just went to pick this up and when I tell you this is a game changer, holy it changed my entire work space and especially for school. The performance is crazy like nothing I’ve never felt better from just basic tasks to pushing it to who even knows its limit with ZERO lag. Apps and other things like multitasking is just so effortless and handles everything I throw at it without it even heating slightly. And the display of this thing is so amazing, everything is smooth, sharpe, and bright and especially when watching videos or movies. Plus the battery helps you get all of this done, haven’t even had it died on me in a full day of working with it. Though he’s may feel a little heavy, that’s gives it that premium feel of what you paid for, and when someone feels the trackpad and keyboard is a whole new experience. Overall, this “laptop” I would just call it a whole computer set up since it runs like it, it’s performance, quality, and reliability is just perfect. So if you’re thinking of either upgrading or just buying one please do so and you won’t regret.

Upgraded from 2020 MacBook Pro M1 and it’s night and day! Such amazing speeds and just phenomenal how it can handle many programs opened at once, image quality is amazing, battery life last all day! I definitely recommend this MacBook to anyone!

Favorite computer I have ever used!!! Great for me as a college student. I also highly recommend the M5 processor it is very speedy and good for ai! Ai is here to stay so we might as well use it for good and this computer is great for it! I love the Touch ID as It is also super easy to use Apple Pay for online purchases! I got it in silver I reccomend the silver one if you are a silver girlie like me. I feel like a baddie and like I have made it when I use this in a coffee shop LOL very pretentious! The 14 inch is really big and a perfect size for me as well if you are wondering what size you should get it is very good and more than sufficient for every day use. It is so fast and very efficient in getting all my life tasks done!

Upgraded from an incredibly older Mac where as I’ve been using various iPad pros. Anyone saying an iPad Pro is MacBook replacement hasn’t used a MacBook. The additional features you’re missing and hand off capabilities you get with the Mac over iPad Pro are substantial and both have their own place in the Apple ecosystem. The m5 version of the pro is amazing and surprisingly light, it is a bit thicker than my wife’s Mac air but I feel a little better carrying it around and the square edges are more appealing in my opinion.
