However, if you already own a recent MacBook Pro (M4), it’s more of a performance bump than a full redesign. For most people upgrading from older Macs, it’s definitely a worthwhile choice.

Absolutely love this MacBook. It’s been a while since i owned one in college and it was the upgraded I never understood I needed. I don’t need extremely advanced uses, so could get away with an Air. But I can tell you spend slightly more on a product that is going to last for much longer. Every MacBook I’ve owned lasts for 8 years minimum with daily use. My air bit the dust after 4 years.
