It’s smooth, fast, and so polished it almost feels illegal. The M5 chip? Honestly, it performs so well I keep wondering if Apple secretly installed a tiny superhero inside. Apps launch instantly, multitasking is buttery, and there’s absolutely zero lag—like, “did it even think about loading?” zero. The Liquid Retina display with 120 Hz refresh rate is another show-off feature. Photos and videos look so crisp that even my old vacation pictures suddenly seem professionally shot. Battery life? Charge it once, forget the charger, and live your best life for the rest of the day. And despite throwing some stress at it—gaming, 4K streaming—it stays impressively quiet, as if it’s meditating through the workload. Overall, it’s an excellent laptop and a joy to use. Yes, it’s pricier than most Windows machines—but honestly, it performs like it knows it’s expensive.

I bought an open box-Excellent and everything was new and very clean. A little bit expensive but performance, battery life, display, portability all these things are amazing. The only thing I found odd was it already had two cycle counts, other than that I’d recommend this laptop to everyone who wants the best performance with a long battery life

The performance is insane. I can have 47 tabs open, Spotify playing, a 4K video exporting, and still feel judged silently by no fan sound. It doesn’t overheat it just whispers disappointment when I make poor financial decisions. The keyboard is buttery smooth. Every keystroke sounds like Apple personally approves of what I’m typing even when it’s just “google.com” for the 14th time today. Overpriced? Yes. Worth it? Also yes. Apple wins.

I had previously been using a 2017 MacBook Pro. I could tell that I needed to purchase a new one, as the old computer kept over heating. I had to keep it plugged in all the time. I purchased this particular model with the M5 chip and it runs like a dream. I can do everything I need to for work and it handles all online work without any issues. It stays cool and won’t overheat. The best part is the long-lasting battery. I can use it for days before I have to charge it. (I don’t use it all day long, but I am using it quite a bit throughout each day.) I had read some reviews about the MacBooks overheating if they had the M4 chip. I had planned to get the M2, as there didn’t seem to be any complaints about them. I am so happy that I found this newest model. It appears from the product description that this M5 was just released this year (2025). I absolutely love this laptop. I am so glad I purchased this product. I was able to get it on sale during the Black Friday Sale. I ordered it on the Best Buy app and when I got to the store I was able to go in and pick it up very quickly. The whole process was quick and easy. Thank you Best Buy!

I absolutely love this MacBook! I upgraded from my 2018 MacBook Pro and it has been a dream to see such improvements in battery life and performance; even with a smaller display! I was very reluctant to get a newer MacBook because I loved the touchbar on my older model. However the performance and better battery life and quality of the display were more important and honestly other than it being a feature I’ve only had and or seen on the last MacBook I barely miss it. Glad I upgraded and well worth it.

Nothing but good things I traded from the MacBook M4 the M5 is amazing how much faster it is. I couldn’t wait to trade and I’m very happy that I did. I’ve actually had M2 M3 M4 and now I have the M5 processor. It is very cool to see the changes in speed and performance throughout the series even if you have the M4 it’s still worth the upgrade plus I was coming from a MacBook M4 air the pro yes it is a little heavier than the air that would be my only issue. Other than that it’s wonderful.
