Finally had to upgrade old mac book pro 2015. Decided on the 14" wow so light weight with all the amenities of the 17". Only bummer no USB port.

I’ve owned an Intel-based 2017 MacBook Pro that I would daily use from my college days. Given Apple no longer provides updates for this Mac I’ve started to wonder if an upgrade is worth pursuing given my dated Mac. Apple Silicon is something I’ve heard great things of and while debating if I should get a M4 MB air or pro I decided to go with the M5 simply for the newer chip. My workload doesn’t require a more powerful chip (Max or Ultra) so for me the standard M5 will do the trick. So far I’ve had nothing but a great experience with my new Mac having it only for a little less than a month. I’m sure it’ll live on and expect to get may years of use from this Mac.

Excellent. The sales team was super nice to me, worked with me to find the best alternative for what I wanted, were very patient in explaining everything, and also open an exception to let me bring the charger for my traded in computer the next day (I personally offered them to keep my ID as a guarantee and brought the charged the following day). The product was in excellent shape, looked like new. I’m extremely satisfied with the purchase and the sales team that helped me out.

The M5 chip is lightning fast and makes the MacBook so much better. I use it for videos and work. I get more done in less time with this amazing hardware.
