excellent, practical, light, fast and good price...

Got this as a temp replacement while my other computer is being repaired (thank you WIn10 upgrade for that). Nice size and powerful enough for most of what I do, spreadsheets and word processing are no problem. This isn't for gamers though. Only downside is no separate keypad but you can't have everything for under $400.

Easy to use works great for all my school projects

I have been looking for a smaller screened computer for awhile. When I read the reviews on this model it appeared to offer what I was looking for. I am happy to add my rating to help other people make the decision to give it a try as I have not been disappointed. Go for it you will be happy you did.

This computer is small enough to fit the pop up desk in my lecture classes. This little gem is super fast even for multi tab use on the internet and multiple applications open! I am very happy with this laptop and will keep it for a very long time. It charges fast and lasts all day for me!

Bought this laptop for my dad for the purpose of checking emails and surfing the web. For his needs, this laptop is good enough. Not blazingly fast, but fast enough. A bit heavy, but has a solid feel. Good laptop for a student or someone that doesn't needs a workhorse for a computer.

Originally was going to order a Mac laptop for school but unfortunately having kids & going to school it’s just didn’t seem right this honestly to me is a great laptop for in my backpack isn’t heavy on my shoulder works I’m sure as good as a Mac best of all I can watch Netflix (win)

Had a laptop that didn’t work well. After going to geek squad it turned out to be better to just upgrade. Found this to fit my budget for school and not cost too much. Great for Hw and general use. Not a power user and don’t care for 2 in 1. Happy with it so far.

I bought this for schoolwork. It has worked well except for losing WIFI. I can be in the middle of Something and it loses connection. Nothing else connected to the WiFi drops the signal. I’m a bit nervous for this to happen when im in the middle of an exam.

I like this laptop a lot. The only thing that I don’t like is it’s so sensitive. If I tap something accidentally it leaves where I am at the time. This very well can be my fault because I am not used to it or my arm hits something. Otherwise it’s awesome!

I got this laptop in a crunch when my old one stopped working. It's light, compact and easy to use. Set up was a breeze. Drawbacks: no 10 key pad, and unless you buy the Microsoft office suite you'll have to use the generic ones provided or Google docs.

Nice little laptop for my daughter. Needs to be upgraded with an SSD, either regular ssd or the m2 drive. with m2 drive you can use the 1tb hard drive for storage and use m2 drive for loading the OS. Build quality is decent for this price range.

I bought this computer strictly for the purpose of school and the computer classes that I am taking. To cut on it takes a minute but that’s to be expected. Other than it being a little slow it is perfect for what I need and the size is great.

I was going back and forth between this and a chrome book. Decided to go with this for my parents since they were used to windows and wanted to have the storage at home and not in the cloud. Wish it booted up faster would be my main complaint.

I had to buy this at the last minute. It's pretty decent, works fine so far. My only complaint is that it feels REALLY cheaply made. Just a big piece of cheap plastic. But it's good if you're not trying to be super fancy. The screen is nice as well.

The size of the computer and the memory is excellent. Getting everything going on the Windows platform, not so good. It's not really the computers fault but it is something that I didn't realize was such a time consuming and ongoing problem.

After looking online, it was relatively easy to remove bloatware, minus cortana and cloud drive. runs multiple web pages and PowerPoint's simultaneously. haven't tried any games yet, but imagine that most cheap games wouldn't be a problem

Bought in January, 2019. Pros: 1. Portable 2. Fast Charging 4. Great HD Display 5. Ports work fine Cons: 1. It has a full window's desktop keyboard lay out, so making key stroke entries are inevitable. 2. Constant crashes within early months of purchase/use: complete blackouts with a winding audio sound. 3. Running slow and Bios notification pop-ups, 3. Pointer drags and alert messages that are stuck on the desktop as visuals. 4. Multiple screen jagged colors are left on the desktop when closing programs such as Word or Power Point. 5. Typing using the keyboard, but nothing shows on the query search box or word documents for more than a few seconds. 6. Spent many hours in self-trouble fixing this computer including, re-start ups and manual updates/diagnostics, and now returning the device, which will leave me without a laptop for a few weeks. 7. Can only return the device 15 Days from purchase time. 8. When trying to return the device, you will speak with a technician that will talk you into keeping the laptop by doing online trouble fixing or another approach except to exchange it for another model or to get a refund. HP has agreed to send a box so I can send it for repairs, June 17, 2019. End.

This is a great little laptop for the price. The i3 processor and 8gb of ram make this thing cook like my larger laptop with the i5. I don't notice a difference really except for video in HD. I recommend this laptop for everyday use.
