Poor Computer.Shuts down randomly, freezes a lot, when you move it the slightest it shuts down. Would not recomond

DONT BUY THIS!!.. EITHER IS HP'S OF WINDOWS 10 FAULT BUT THIS COMPUTER IS SUPER HYPER SLOW!!

This is an excellent device, this is more likely tailored to the students and casual gaming range. The design of the computer is beautiful, the screen is one of the best things at this price point, it is a 1366 x 768 HD crystal-like screen (not plastic a one like other lenovo laptops) and this makes it look a lot more premium . Up to 1 TB its almost imposible to find in this category and also it comes with Intel Core i3!! GAMING: This laptop can easily run CSGO at medium - high graphics performance, Payday 2 at medium, Minecraft, Battlefield 3 at low- medium. It can run fortnite at 45 - 55 fps at the lowest settings. This one is a great purchase, it makes up for an excellent experience with a great price. I bought it at $379.99 but sometimes it goes down to $359.99. Go get it!!

Nothing like I wanted in a laptop, no CD or dvd playback

Very good, functional, lightweight and sleek laptop.

I was looking for a laptop just for your basic facebooking, netflix, and some other simple things. I don`t think I would use this laptop for photoshopping, gaming or for art programs. If you need a laptop for simple laptop things, this is the one for you. I have yet to run into any issues with lagging or needing to reboot it. I do find that when turning it on from off, it does take a little longer than most computers, but it`s only like 20 seconds longer. My work PC has like a 2 foot curved screen, so this is a step down and if you are used to the normal 15-18 inch screens, you will need to adjust to the smaller screen. Battery life is good, roughly 8 hours, (I think closer to 9) keyboard types nicely, mouse-pad is nice-not overly sensitive, so if you accidentally glide over it while typing, you don`t need to worry too much about it messing things up. Love that fact is has so much storage for the price it is. (bought this at $430) Like I said, great laptop if you aren`t doing anything "special". Even then, I think this laptop can handle light gaming and maybe photoshop.

8th gen i3 CPU, 8gb of ram, 1tb of memory and Windows 10...what's not to like? A perfect laptop for spreadsheets/word processing/web surfing etc. Only cons are: -Slow to boot even with all bloatware removed -feels somewhat cheap...keys, trackpad, buttons For something under $400, a Best Buy.

Perfect for our daughter starting High school in Australia this year, she has been using it with no problems. The computer is lightweight which is great for her muscular dystrophy and she loves the rose gold colour.

It’s great for a basic laptop. It’s fast enough for normal web browsing and is great for college. Plenty of storage if you need it.

Decent memory and storage capacity for the price is what drew me to this machine. However, this computer is so slow that it acts like it has a virus, and it is brand new! An example of this is that I type maybe 30-40 words per minute, and twice while writing this review I have stopped and watched the cursor finish showing the words that I have typed, with a delay of several seconds to finish the sentence. Loading or launching programs takes far longer than it should, and even a simple brick breaker game was glitching from information overload. I have seen the battery life reported at about 10 hours. It is barely half of that even at lower screen brightness with few programs running. I am going to return it to the store for an exchange, and if the next one runs this poorly, I will have to look for a different machine, because this is ridiculous.

Not Best Buy's fault, obviously, but HP must've done zero testing before shipping it. I placed it on a table, nothing near it, and pc died shortly after powering it up. When it came back, message was about overheating and needing to keep the vents clear. Partially through set up it died again , and went straight into the box to be returned. Whether the cooling system is broken, or a bad sensor, I don't know, but it give3s me 0 confidence in HP, and I've decided to spend a little bit more and get a Dell which has never given me problems in the past.

Bought this as a gift for my dad. This is a pretty basic , lightweight laptop with the minimum requirements met. Serves the purpose.

Needed a smaller laptop to fit in my bag when I travel and this is perfect.
