Good for high school student. Something for them to do homework on

PRO'S: Touchscreen, fast startup, light weight, matte finish. CON'S: Sound quality became distorted & NOT Weebly compatible (reasons for return), plastic power button & keyboard spacing (small fingers). *Without those 2 reasons I would have kept it*

I bought this as a gift for my mom and it was simple. You are restricted to being able to only download apps from the Google play store. Unfortunately, she needed it to use all the office products for school, and Excel was not available for download for this chromebook. It was only able to download Word. It’s okay for those that have basic needs: internet, streaming, emails, essays, google drive applications, video calling, and such.

I use this for school and its light and efficient with perfect battery life for my 5 hour school time totally recommend for a school laptop!

I was unhappy that Google stopped servicing their older Chromebooks. I was an original purchaser when they first emerged in , as I recall, about 2011. However, I did decide to upgrade to a newer model. This one offered a lot of bang for the buck. The SD memory slot will take 64 gig, 128 gig, and/or 256 gig and this supplements the 32 gig on the computer itself. The quality of "casting" to Chromecast TV is unbelievably clear & good. The computer is fast and better still, when I close the lid and reopen my work or pending research is still there. I can print anything I want to archive to .pdf format. The VERY BEST FEATURE is the BATTERY LIFE. Far, far longer than you would guess -- 9 to 14 hours in my usage.

Gets the job done but sometimes you can use certain programs on it

love it. nice battery it lasted me along time before charging it again. touchscreen works great and is super fast. but i will try to update later on this.

Bought 2 of these for may 2 boys virtual classes. They work great. They hace everything they need for their classes. Great product.

Decent Chromebook with 4 mg ram and 32 GB storage. Plastic case but feels solid. Screen is better than decent and no issues with anything except the wifi seems to lag about 5 seconds behind an older, more expensive HP Chromebook I have. However, for the $140 savings, I am not complaining.

We bought this laptop for our daughter to do schoolwork, it has been great for that. All the school documents are on Google Docs, so this is a seamless way for her to work.

Fast, clear screen, great looks & light. I replaced my Samsung 11.6 (which is great) to this 14" and it's still compact. I use it everyday, fits in my backpack. Love it.

I am happy with the chromebook. It was a little difficult getting my printer to work on it.

Good laptop. No complaints. Until half the keyboard stopped working

This is my second Chromebook. I use it for school and everyday use in the last 3 weeks whenever i want to listen to a video or music I have to reset the computer because it crashes or freezes and video lag. The worst problem is the sound it sounds like the computer is dying or it is going super slow and slowed down the video or music. Overall a great computer besides the missing hdmi port.

I wasn't expecting a computer that was going to wow me, but wow this thing kind of just sucks. I returned it after two days because the screen was flickering like an 10 year old monitor even sitting on an easy flat surface. That was the nail in the coffin on a couple days of being just generally "whelmed" with the machine. The processor is nothing to write home about, but I expect a machine that loads Chrome OS with at least a bit more speed than this. The screen, before it failed has an odd texture to it, smudges immediately, and has such bad color and resolution I had to squint to look at it even in the dark. Just don't buy this laptop, please.
