I got this so I could do simple work at home. It was inexpensive and has great battery life. A Chromebook takes some getting used to (ex: no delete button). I am routinely having to look up ways to do simple tasks. It is a small bother. Working from home I needed to access Excel. It is an Android version and not as easy to work with. For basic functions this is a great little machine.

Great touchscreen, user friendly. Great for my daughter's homework.

This Chromebook is so easy to use. I know that my grandchildren will be excited to use it for their schoolwork when they are visiting, which is often. I even find it convenient to use myself for the regular things, like email, when I am not wanting to get on the main computer to perform some of the more complicated tasks.

I have a desk top, a large Dell laptop, a Samsung tablet and a I pad and than I purchased this simple tablet and I love it. Amazing volume and smooth. The size makes it so easy to grab and go. I would definitely purchase this item again . Thanks to the great team at Best Buy in Shakopee , MN for their help and guidance.

My Tablet's battery had died and the replacement one was close to $100 (not counting the tools needed to pry open the 'water resistant' tablet)! I thought about what I actually used the tablet for and one thing that I always missed was a keyboard. For practically a little bit more than a replacement battery cost, I was able to score a good deal on the HP-14" touchscreen Chromebook! I have been really pleased with the Chromebook. It does everything that I needed the tablet for and more. It's got way better sound output, and much larger screen (10" vs. 14") for about the same weight and a keyboard. The large screen (14") makes watching movies, videos, etc. very enjoyable. Surfing the web is a better experience since I now get the full website (without resorting to any tricks). Furthermore, all the apps that I use are available on the Chromebook. In short, the Chromebook is an excellent replacement for an Android tablet. The track pad on the HP-14" is quite good and hence, it has been a terrific choice for me. One thing that I would have loved was the flex type (or 360 hinge type) but that is a lot more more money than the HP-14" that I bought. Also, the touchscreen is a little bit too sensitive and wish there were a setting for adjusting the sensitive (more a needed chromebook improvement and not HP's issue). Overall, I am very pleased with the purchase of the HP-14" touchscreen Chromebook.

This computer was a great buy, I have zero complaints.

My first Chromebook and I can say I'm very happy with it. I've been actively using it for a few months now and what stands out the most is the speed- regardless of how many tabs open, there is no slow down. I would have rated it 5 stars if the display was a bit more crisp. I would definitely recommend it for someone interested in something basic, inexpensive and a starter to surf the internet and use for email, etc.
