Needed a computer for Grand Daughters school work, She went to work as soon as it was set up, of course as well as social media, Great deal on it for the price.

This is the second and third time I've bought these. My perfect for what it's needed for in my kids high school. And cheap enough to not worry if broken or stolen. One is over a year old the other 2 less then 4 weeks ago. Kids like it, was a little slow upon start up and updating but once that was all done things picked up fast. They start right up and show no slowing down at all. Connects to WiFi zero issues and printing over WiFi flawless too. I highly recommend this for teens first laptops to get used to them and then if even need can update to more expensive one later if need be but very little difference to my sons $900 17" HP. Seems just as fast asn battery last a good 6 hours plus so far

I got a goodbye and could not pass it up. Found a good decent computer to do what I need to do. Homework, online surfing, maybe a song or two. Nothing spectacular but does the job. And a great buy

Very nice laptop big enough i mainly got it to play games an do school work only thing i hate is the power button lol it’s skinny so you have to press down kinda hard other than that i love it

I use this to view internet content on my TV and to do some minor program work in the Microsoft Office Suite. It is somewhat slow but adequate for what I use it for. However, sometimes for no apparent reason, this laptop reboots unexpectedly.

You're not going to find many laptops cheaper than this, and for the price it has pretty good specs and does exactly what you'd expect it to.

Was looking for something economical for my kids to use and found it. Plenty of storage and easy for the little ones to use. Battery life is good and light enough for my 6 year old to carry.

This HP laptop is great for everyday tasks. Out of the box it can seem a little sluggish, but that is more about the loaded software than anything else. If you remove the McAfee Security Software, the machine runs a lot better. If you want a real workhorse, spend for an SSD and replace the mechanical hard drive and the machine really performs. This will not be a gamer machine or anything like that, but we use this in a business for web work, using office, and web surfing and it does the trick. A lot better than a chrome book, and with a full version of Windows. You can even upgrade the ram to 8gb, but for basic work, the 4gb works just fine.

This is not super heavy and I was in desperate need of an upgrade to my laptop. Much easier to use and came with a great deal on the Office programs. Everything I need in one place!

This computer is great! I bought it for my mom for Christmas , as she is going to school, and she absolutely loves it! Great amount of storage & super fast. Fits all her needs!

It's ok for a beginner laptop however the main issue I have is the battery. The rep in the store told me at full charge I would get 3 to 4 hours of battery life. After full charge I am only getting an hour and a half at most.

I initially bought the 15" Lenovo Laptop, but the HD was too small. I returned/swapped it for the 15.6" HP Laptop w/ a 500 GB HD. Well worth the additional $20- $30! Great Laptop!

This was purchased for my daughter so she could do her homework and practice her coding skills. This was not purchased for ‘heavy’ use and is an excellent system for the price.

Got the laptop as a birthday gift to myself. Great investment. Not a fan of HP short warranty should be a full 30days but that's HP. Lightweight, great screen, and very fast.

Had to learn Windows 10 but surviving that. My Old Vista computer crashed and now I'm retired and traveling this lap top is great solution. Light, compact and expandable if needed. Enjoying my choice. No problems so far 30 days in. Had to purchase Office did not come with lap top.

This thing is great out of the box and It is a steal for the money but it's got a slow processor and only 4 gigs of RAM. You get what you pay for. A good laptop will run you about a grand so this is great for the money.

This was the first time I had purchase an HP laptop for home or business. It's light and is perfect for office use, I have an insurance agency. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating was because it's slow to boot up! Other than that, try to get a faster processor!

Despite others saying it can be slow it’s good enough for me to use it for online college classes and also play the Sims 4 with several things downloaded. Worth the money

Awful is an understatement. Slow, slow, slow. I only kept it because I bought the Office software. I just bought more memory, will see if that improves anything.

I love that the setup and start were so easy for a non-techi person. Spent a lot of time researching for next laptop and this model offered me everything I wanted.
