The laptop is pretty good, typical of most HP products (I own a desk top and monitor already). It is powerful enough and agile enough for what my wife needed and she likes it. Decent speed and graphics, adequate programs available, and having the disc drive helps a lot.

Couldn't get it to behave when I first got on it, even with help from a whiz. He finally got it usable, but had to put a new OS on. It likes Linus. Only one problem left-- It is very hard to boot up b/c the power button is minuscule and requires pressing forever....

I installed a program so , windows 10 looks like windows 7 . No issues at all, wish windows didn’t have the password log in all the time . That’s a windows issue.

For this price I don't know if a better laptop is available. Screen is great and very lightweight. Only thing that could make it better is a backlit keyboard.

Shocking! This device is definitely worth purchasing! Don’t be discouraged by the processor or the price. You’ll be surprised and happy that you purchased it.

The only problem is the battery does not last very long, when I called Customer Service, they told me the month of returning it was already expired, now I have to look to buy a new batter, bummer...

bought this for the wife she loves it is not good with computers but she seems to be getting along great EZ for here to use and dose not make her feel lost

Purchased this inexpensive basic laptop as gift to replace aging slow Acer laptop used by my wife, who mainly used it to watch YouTube videos. Little additional software added, as not main home/office computer. Functioned well straight out of the box

Great price for this laptop. It does what I am requiring of it - Microsoft office, cruising internet etc. Probably would not be a good gaming platform.

Good laptop with decent battery for a great price, it’s not going to run HD video games but it’s fine for Internet surfing and doing paperwork. You just have to understand it’s capabilities and don’t expect it to run with a $1k dollar plus computer.

The processor delivers ample speed when surfing the internet. 500 GB of storage is more than I'll ever need. Great computer for a very reasonable price.

Lightweight and easy carry. Graphics and video picture are high quality. Sound quality and speaker system are excellent. A good laptop for my needs.

The laptop is nice. It's a little slow but I didn't want to spend much because I only use the laptop for school. Works good enough to do homework on.

I purchased this laptop for my 75 year old mom. It fits her needs for accessing email, social media sites, online searches, etc She loves it!

It is a nice computer, but after about a month it began to slow down. The battery doesn’t last the 6 hours it says it does. More like an hour.

Too much pre-loaded software per usual. This is the third one I purchased. Originally one for myself to take to organization meetings, then one for each of my parents. They preferred the laptop for full keyboard typing over tablets/smartphones.

Bought this laptop as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. Works great for quick everyday things- paying bills, checking social media, emails. Only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating is because it doesn’t come with Microsoft word at all.

Had to purchase a new laptop as the Toshiba I've used for years was stolen when my vehicle was broken in to. This is the third laptop I've owned and by far the worst. It is extremely slow and freezes a lot. Windows 10 sucks as well and that might be the problem with the whole unit but I'm not sure.
