Recently two of my kids HP laptop have hinge issues, one of them is of no use. both are pretty new. Got this one to replace, overall look and feel is good. Have to see how long the hinge will last.

seems to be running slow out of the box. Also, the serial number is not able to be inputted for the virus threat software which came with the computer

I like it a lot, the size and the speed is perfect. It has randomly cut off on me but then would restart instantly and usually there was a windows update but I am still happy with the purchase

I purchased this laptop as a spare to travel with. So far it has been very reliable. Great deal for the price.

Good laptop for basic needs. Some slow speed. Too much software from MS, HP and others loaded that not needed but its slower start and work speed.

The laptop is good for basic computing. What I liked the most is I came in for a different laptop, and the sales rep pointed me to this one, on sale with a little better specs. So thank you!

Maybe it's a little slow to load and update, but for 249.00 it has 500 gigs of hard drive and 4gigs of memory. Works great . Replaced an old laptop I had and this one works better and is cheaper. I read all the negative comments about this one, but you simply can't beat it for the price. I guess the 1,000.00 laptops are better. But I'm not a gamer, so this one works fine for me.

Really pleased with this HP laptop! Performs well for the casual user. Best part is the assistance from the Geek Squad Techs when the "operator" doesn't know where he messed up! Thanks!

This is a great computer for High School or Middle school students. It's fast and not loaded with a bunch of stock software that needs to be deleted after computer setup.

Easy setup, great speed, sound and storage. Perfect for my kids to do school work, or just play games.

My son loves his laptop, he will use it for school and for playing games and other stuff. Very please.

Easy to use and very light weight and lots of different things can be done on it as well.
