Very slow, painfully slow to the point my husband will not use it. I know it's not a high end computer but I dont need it for much.

Owned for over 2 years, still working great as the first day, got a good antivirus and still like new.

Laptop came with all that I expected. Just needed an internet machine that would run word and excel. Not a gamer so this fit my bill.

The hp laptop that I purchase is a great investment and a great product. The processor is good for school work it doesnt slow down.

Like computer but the on/off button should be bigger so you know if you pushed it. Doesn't come with a Windows office bundle. You are paying full price. No discounts offered.

I bought two of these computers for my kids to complete projects for school. It has served it's purpose and I'm very satisfied.

For the money this computer cannot be beat. Internet, email, word processing, business use (Quick Books), spread sheets and more.

This laptop is very fast and does everything you need it to do. It also has a built in optical drive which very few others have.

I needed to new laptop, works great. Have not had much dealing with windows 10, it worked good as I have all ways had windows 7.

By far the worst purchase I have ever made in my life. If you want a computer that you can't use for anything go ahead and buy this one. I only bought to surf the Internet. It takes 15 min just to turn on. I barely ever use it and when I do it updates without asking. Its a min of 15 min to turn on every time I use it. Don't buy this computer, you can have my free. I will never buy hp again.

I needed a laptop as a secondary computer. This works great. Powerful enough to run all my daily software and surf the internet.

Bought this for my step-brother. Works great for all the normal email, web browsing, YouTube, and all the other stuff he does.

Although technology is constantly evolving and updated I haven't had any problems out of my laptop

A good computer if you keep it cleaned off and get good antivirus and software update to keep it up and running

This HP laptop is a basic no frills no thrills laptop that gets the job done. The auto updates are a nuisance but there is a way to turn off. Overall a decent machine.

I understand this is a economy computer and I don't expect it to do much. Just quickbooks, browse the web and some spreadsheets. Well it had difficulty even doing that. Even basic web pages were a struggle for the computer to load. You are better off saving up a couple hundred dollars more to get a better performing system.

We bought this as an open box special… I’m not sure if the fan is loud because it was not brand new or if this is how it is made. I’m glad we didn’t pay full price.

My old HP laptop kept randomly rebooting when I was reading mail in a browser or editing a Word Doc. It went away for 2 weeks for repairs and came back unable to boot so I bought this laptop which was very similar. After 2 days of use it started randomly rebooting every few days. Geek Squad ran hardware diagnostics and changed power settings and it's still randomly rebooting. And with only one Chrome tab open to write this review it's using 60-90% of CPU and 50-70% of memory. It seems too under-powered to handle Windows 10. And Geek Squad said I can't uninstall any processes. I've been resisting for years, but it looks like I'll be buying a Mac. They may cost more but at least I won't be driving back and forth to the store and losing access to my PC for days or weeks at a time.

Does everything I wanted it to do in a fast and efficient way. It is a basic computer that does what most people want to do.
