Maybe the specs are too low. Right out of the box the computer is slow and all applications such as the internet browser have loading times. Would not recommend this laptop.

Fairly fast and easy to use, good resolution, but after only 2 months “ locked up “ while doing a Microsoft update, and is going to cost me $$ to have itcleared and then I’ll have to reload the whole thing!!!

The computer is really slow and easy to break! My daughter dropped the computer accidentally and a cord came loose inside causing the screen to go very dim! Had to spend $81 to get that fixed.

If you want a laptop that is ridiculously slow, interrupts your work to do updates, has a poor battery life, and freezes-up... this one is for you!

Not a good casing, the mouse is terrible. It is made cheap, it feels cheap, and it performs cheap. It is certainly a sub par product. I got a cheap product for a cheap price.

Very basic and slow. For the price, pretty much what you get. Save and buy better product for more. Comparable with similar price Dell has better availability.

Hardware crashed on its own. No damage. Cpu was running slow when i purchased it but didnt think anything of it until this happened

i was impressed with the pricepoint and knew it was too good to be true. this laptop powers on but cant take much else.

Gave it to mom 2 months ago and now it is painfully slow and suddenly shuts down. She only uses it for Youtube and Facebook. No Microsoft office and no game etc installed. And she uses it only 2-3 hrs per day. Battery lasts about 2 hr and i am OK with that for the price. But shutting down when she surfs Facebook is not OK.. It was my first time to try this ultra cheap laptop and it surely is the last one! Mom, so sorry for your frustration. You deserve better machine!

After reading many reviews and comparing low-cost laptops this seemed like it would work for me. I picked up the computer from our local store and signed in to do the normal many hours of updates any new windows product requires. It never completed the updates; it simply went to a black screen and never worked again.

Not a lot of memory, I only have an art program on the entire laptop and it takes forever to load, restarts randomly and can't multitask at all.

Numerous blue screens. Geek Squad repaired and two days later it would not boot. It is now back for repair a second time in less than two months.

Didn’t last two years. In just under two years the battery is already expanded and it continually overheats.

Geek squad did a poor job on data transfer and than charged me twice to fix. Very unsatisfied, will not buy next computer from best buy.

This was a good deal for an open box. Not sure if it’s “breathing loud” because somethings wrong or just how load the internal fan is.

The computer takes forever to load. And it always says not responding. It will exit and delete my stuff because it will stop loading

It's a little slow and clumsy. It didn't treat me well. Had issues with power right at the beginning. I wouldn't recommend this.

It's so incredibly slow, like ABSOLUTELY ridiculous, do not buy it. You will regret it.

I am very disappointed.The laptop restarts frequently ,so I CANNOT work as I should.

I bought this on sale for $249. Once I uninstalled the HP, Microsoft and McAfee bloatware and updated to Microsoft's Windows Fall Creators Edition the machine has turned into a gem. Very responsive. Everything is working perfectly. Highly recommended.
