I spent nearly $1,000 on the computer, software, antivirus and protection for 3 years. Thank God. The computer went blue screen 16 days after purchase and needed to reinstall all software and configure. I think I got a 'lemon'. The manager was very nice and said if the computer failed again I would get a replacement. One year and two months ago I purchased a Lenovo laptop nearly $1,000 after all the additional costs of software and viral protection. The drivers and mother board failed and couldn't be fixed. It failed after only two months after the 1 yr warranty. I lost everything. Sad but true. I believe some reimbursement should have been done toward the second new computer. If anyone out there has had a similar experience please respond. Thanks.

Pretty good laptop. Especially if you need it for school.

Laptop was very fast at loading. However it has a weak connection to the internet. Videos stop to buffer constantly. I have very good internet so I know that wasn't the problem. I'm also not a fan of the large screen. I prefer 15 inch screens. Returned after a week.

It is still too early to say anything more than that.

It should be a more powerful computer for the price!

I purchased this laptop less than 2.5 years ago. There is an issue with opening and closing the laptop. (Pieces of the hardware where its opening/closing is breaking off...each time the laptop is opened/closed.

This is the worst pc purchase I've ever made. When I got this home, it froze repeatedly. I was never able to actually do anything (internet, word processing, etc.) without it freezing or shutting down. After a few months, I finally brought it back to Best Buy to be checked out. After paying $200, I was told that there was nothing wrong with it. I explained that this.item is basically unusual, but I was told that I could sell it back for $200. I have lost money on this purchase. I will NEVER buy HP and I will never return to Best Buy.

Geek squad could not repair. Then said it was a problem with Windows 10 installation. Had to exchange. Hopefully exchange won't have the same problem.

The sign stated it was a touchscreen, but it wasn't. Plus it seemed very cheaply made. But I guess for the price- I got what I paid for! I have since returned it.

Within 3 days of purchase, my computer sounded like a stuttering Autobot and froze and gave me the wonderful ": (" screen. Brand new, happened only when watching YouTube and Netflix. Returned and got a second one, thinking it was a lemon. Same thing happened on the first day. Got a Dell instead with less specs and no problems since.

I purchased this laptop in September 2017. The hard drive crashed on June 3, 2018. This was after having several performance issues. The good news, I have Geek Squad protection. They did an inspection and found the hard drive was defective. Since it is still under manufacturers warranty they will install a new hard drive. Irritated at the laptop but satisfied with service.

Weak "gaming" laptop. Over heats, cannot play modern games well. Very unhappy.

PC works great, but swivel arm completely broke after 3 months with careful use.

This computer was too slow. We returned it for a Lenovo Yoga.

Had this for less than 2 years and things were fine until the right hinge broke, which caused the right corner to separate from the screen bezel. Bad quality. Beware of the poor hinge design.

I have had nothing but issues since I purchased this item

Had it for three weeks before it failed. Took it back, they had to replace it but didn't have any in stock. I had to drive 20 miles to pick one up. I hope it performs better this time. I feel I should have been reimbursed for my mileage and time.

poor quality; over-priced; falling apart. Prior to this purchase I had a Toshiba for many years---without problems. It was well built and had everything I needed plus more. The HP doesn't compare.

I bought this laptop last September. I can no longer shut it because the latch on the back cracked. Very disappointing in HP and best buy for not standing behind hid product and fixing it. Done with HP.
