Customers are saying

Customers often highlight the ease of use, compact size, and affordability of the 19.5" All-In-One - AMD E2-Series computer. Many appreciate its performance and sleek design, along with the good picture quality. However, some users mention that the RAM could be improved for better speed and that the noise level may be higher than expected for some. A few also noted slow startup times.

I can’t believe how incredibly slow this PC is. It was not worth any cost. Looks great but that’s about it. I have saved barely any documents or photos because it takes 20 minutes to open anything. This PC made me realize I don’t need a PC because it is horrible. It could be HP, it could be Microsoft- how am I supposed to know?

My old HP computer was beginning to sound like it was on the way out. So, at my wife's suggestion, I purchased their all-in-one model that would take up less room. Then I purchased from HP The PC mover software and cord to transfer My old files to the new computer. The new one hardly works at all now. I'm revuing it from the old one.

This is the worst purchase I ever made. The slowest computer I have ever owned IN 30 YEARS! I ended up returning this for the "HP - Pavilion 23.8" Touch-Screen All-In-One - AMD Ryzen 5-Series - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive - HP Finish In Blizzard White"

This desktop didn't work for the purpose it was purchased for. Only to use for my kids to perform simple online searches and for school. Even after trying to troubleshoot with Best Buy over the phone, still wouldn't work.

Bought open box and the old owner’s information was not wiped off. Also, it was stated that it was in excellent condition but it was dirty and the stand was bent. We returned it.

I have been a Mac user since 1997 which I truly recommend to everyone. This computer with Microsoft program is the worst! I plan to return this HP computer back to Best Buy shortly.

    Excruciatingly slow at times

The reviews were right: it IS slow, but it also is decent for checking email and navigating the web. Upon setting up and booting up the computer for the first time, my little brother got to playing a pre-installed game and immediately there was a delay/lag with the sound/music. Then we started watching Netflix on it and some time into the movie there was a screen delay/freeze temporarily. Also, the screen on this computer isn't viewer friendly as far as angles. I tried watching the Netflix laying down in bed, but the screen didn't allow the movie to be viewed "regular" (colors and contrasts were 'off'), and there's no swiveling of the screen to tilt it up or down. Finally, I installed some programs plus my printer, then I couldn't get the Start Menu to appear, or the internet navigator to open up, no matter how many times I clicked or how patiently I waited. (I had to force restart/turn off the computer by holding the power button in order to fix this). As someone else has said, if you don't install a lot of programs and just use it as a basic navigating the web, possibly light program work, it could be fine for you, but it definitely IS slow/delayed even being brand new...

Bought this new All In One to replace my parents aging HP. Love the sleek look but most of all the price. It has everything for those basic users.

    Great price, horrid performance

I bought this simply to have computer to use on the rare occasion I need one. Windows 10 plus 4gb of ram is less than ideal. It runs at a slow speed right out of the box. This machine can barely handle being turned on let alone running any kind of program. The screen is one of the poorest quality screens you'll ever see. You have to be directly in front of it to get a clear picture and even then the image is a washed out mess. If you are at even the slightest angle, the whites turn yellow and the image deteriorates. I've read that there is a way to add an additional 4gb of ram (check YouTube) so I'll probably do that to lessen the extreme lag this machine has.

This computer is stupid slow, Windows 10 is a terrible operating system and this is a computer that should be avoided at all costs. For reference, I purchased this computer on a Thursday for $379.99 and 3 days later it was on sale for $319.99. There is a reason my review is only the 4th review, no wants this "all-in-one" paperweight.

It's a nice looking unit but unfortunately it's pretty slow. Takes a while to load anything. Not sure if it's because of bloatware but it's not a keeper, even as a secondary/backup computer. If you're short with patience, look elsewhere. Also it's fairly loud. The sound reminds me of a percolating teapot.

I knew this computer would be slower due to its affordable price, but boy was I in for a surprise. Took forever to open up any apps, access the start menu, and there was even a quite noticeable lag as I typed. I used this computer for about an hour before I boxed it back up and returned it.

    Extremely Slow budget PC

Even after removing unwanted software, such as McAfee and WildTangent games, the comouter manages to be extremely slow, and a glance at task manager shows it pinned at 100% CPU usage all the time, doing normal background things like managing Windows Updates, so you wouldn't see any outward signs of why you're waiting for several minutes for it to respond.
