I first heard one of Adele's songs, "Make You Feel My Love," while watching the movie "When in Rome." I was SO impressed with her vocal styling, but for whatever reason, I didn't follow up on her until she did "Skyfall." Her first album, 19, was released in 2008, and here I am, just purchasing it NOW in 2016~~okay, I admit I'm a little behind the times~~but I wanted to start at the beginning with Adele, to experience her music when she was first starting out. Suffice to say, I was NOT disappointed~~this CD is AMAZING! I've added her more recent CDs to my Christmas Wish List, so hopefully, I will soon catch up with what the rest of the world already knows~~that Adele is pure vocal magic and is HERE TO STAY.

Very good cd. Adele is a great artist and I enjoy.

This is a good album with lots of Adele's classics.

But the CDs are getting boring after a while; the songs all sound the same.

I knew this was Adele's first effort and wasn't that familiar with many of the tracks. Chasing pavements was a stellar track and makes up for some of the less spectacular songs. All in all, some of the cuts might grow on me,after all,it is Adele! Her average is still plenty good

In all honesty - I know I would have rated this 5 stars had I not listened to Adele's 21 album 100 times before buying 19. Her 19 album is amazing. 21 spoke to me personally; as it has to the world! She just gets better & better each album!

Adele's Debut album is just okay. It is better to get 21 instead. It has her most popular and better songs. It's as if she hasn't gotten famous yet and these cover songs rather than more original material reflect it!

While I am a fan of Adele's, I found this album to be less satisfying than the latest one. Perhaps because 6 years makes a big difference in how one views and experiences the world.

I really enjoyed the folksy/acoustic sound of this album, not only can Adele write and sing but she also plays the guitar as well as other instruments. All around talent!

Adele is an amazing songwriter and her voice is phenomenal. Her first record is great, and I would definitely recommend it! "Hometown Glory" is my favorite song on the record.

I'm such a fan of Adele! This album is awesome like her other 2. Went to her concert at the staples center and she is as real as.can be. Love her !

I purchased this cd to add to my Adele collection. I like 21 and 25. 19 was nice. If you like Adele, then 19 is worthy of a buy.

Adele 19 is a great CD to listen too. I have yet to have a CD from Adele that I didn't like. Love to listen to her sing.
