1989 - A Good Year and a Great Album
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although I've been a fan of Taylor Swift and her music since her first single and album several years ago, I was concerned about this new CD and her self-professed change of genre. She was a master of modern country music and had proven her talent for writing and singing with hit after hit. But I needn't have worried....her new album, "1989," is phenomenal! I love EVERY song on this CD and that's a rarity for me with almost any artist or album. I honestly believe that any song here could be released as a single and it would be a huge hit...this album truly is that good. The imagery Taylor creates with her honest, heartfelt and often clever lyrics has never been better, and the melodies are catchy, memorable and sometimes even haunting. I highly recommend this album!
