I really enjoyed this wonderful CD, an the many songs that have moved up the charts. I enjoy Taylor's songs.

This was purchased as a gift for my daughter, however, I think the CD is great and listen to it all the time.

My 10 year old daughter loves Taylor Swift and I have to admit that I am enjoying this new side of her music!

Gave as a gift. Granddaughter was thrilled. This album is really good great songs easy to dance and sign to.

The first time I listened to the album, I felt eh. I found myself craving the songs a few hours later.

Such a dramatic change in style/genre was definitely a risk for her but I KNOW this was the right direction. She had plateaued with her country career and had already established a small foothold in pop. It made sense for her to break into a whole new market. The first time I listened to 1989 start to finish I didn't like it. It was like hearing a completely new artist that reminded me of Taylor Swift. I had an expectation of hearing the same thing I heard when Red came out but it was a complete shock. A few more times through and telling myself that she is still the same T she has always been and this doesn't mean I cant still listen to her old stuff helped but more than that I was catching more and more of each song and remembering the musical genius she is. I always catch myself tapping along to the beat on this album and there are moments that completely connect the world to exactly what she is feeling. It is rare to find artists that can do that these days. Give this new Taylor a chance and you will fall in love all over again!!!

i wanted the cd for only one song, i listened to the entire cd, which i now love and am now a Taylor fan.

I purchased this CD for my Great Niece for Christmas. She loves it and I think the music is good as well.

Every single song on this CD is phenomenal!!!! You will end up loving the songs not played on the radio.

I have been a TS follower since she first hit the music scene. So this was an easy choice to make.

It feels/sound like the generic pop record, however it was a great first full attempt at a Pop album. You would never believe that she was a country girl for a majority of her career thus far.

I guess most of the songs on the cd relate to something I was going through and it helped to heal.

the taylor swift cd was great. not only were the songs amazing, I enjoyed gettting the pictures inside.

I have always bopped my head to Taylor Swift songs heard on the radio but this was the first album of hers that I purchased, and I really like it. Pretty good listen with some catchy tracks.
