    The install took way longer than quoted, had to be brought back the second day due to issues. The tech rushed the end and didn't get everything reconnected.

    I love Best Buys products but I DO NOT recommenced the Geek Squads Auto install as it depends on actual employee having the proper knowledge to actually do his job with any ethics. that is just not acceptable. I had a subwoofer installed incorrectly-the first employee obviously could not figure out how to properly attach the remote power line on a stock head unit and sent me on the way with a subwoofer that stayed ON ALL THE TIME> which meant it was DRAINING MY CAR BATTERY 24/7!! This resulted in c me loosing two days pay from a dead car, the cost of purchasing a new battery. God knows what it did to my alternator as that remains to be seen. After I figured out it was the subs bad install I needed to come back and have it reinstalled which was another two hours of my life I will never get back! The 2nd installer had a diffaclut time figuring it out as well but at least i was there waiting in the shop to make sure it was actually done right--which was due to me suggesting that the use my auxillary power supply as the remote on -- glad I paid $200 bux to figure that out for them!! I then made sure I was reimbursed for my car battery!! This is NOT how a customer experience is supposed to work!! This was an epic fail in my book so buyer beware--

    The installation was good but now it stopped working. i wish the other guy was available to do the install.

    They did a clean job! Brought my own hardware which made it much cheaper. Highly recommend you purchase hardware online before to save $$$$

    I had an appointment at 3:15, he said it would be done til 6 o’clock, I said okay and went on about my day. He didn’t finish the installation until 8 o’clock and on top of that he didn’t even wire my amplifier to my speakers correctly. They weren’t even pushing any bass out. Very disappointed.

    Set appointment for my BMW 5 series and tech called said he doesn’t want to touch because he don’t have a wiring diagram. Something that can be easily found. A friend of mine got his subs installed with exact car but somehow mines can’t be done.

    Had a amp/subwoofer combo installed that was advertised to go under the seat in the main cabin. Installer took upon themselves to install in the the trunk. Having had previous experience as an installer I know that a amp/subwoofer that size would not be beneficial in a car that size. Also subwoofers should not be installed pointing upwards. All the sound is in the trunk and minimum sound makes it in the cabin of the car. Also the installer did not connect the remote switch so the amp stays on continuously. Only benefit that I have was with the amp install kit I have the wires ran already and can change it myself because I don't trust for them to do it correctly. Finally had an aux cable in my car that I use always and know it was in the car when I dropped it off cause I used it. When I picked up the car it was missing and they insisted they didn't remove it. They did not even offer me a new one but instead made me buy a new one one myself.

    Communication issue prevented them from completing the installation, rescheduled for next Monday. Annoyingly, after getting my vehicle back the keyless entry did not work and a message to service keyless system error is displayed every time the vehicle is started. They are planning on looking into the issue and correcting it at time of installation.

    Poor Installation with No Immediate Remedy Offered

    Terrible installation. I checked in before my appointment at 1:55pm for a 2pm appointment. The team adjusted my order to save me $50, which was appreciated. I was informed that the install would take 2-2.5 hours. I returned in 2.5 hours and I watched the installer step on my vinyl interior pieces outside the car as he attempted to reinstall another vinyl interior piece. After 3 hours, I drove away. They did not do a demonstration and told me the "signal was weak". Upon driving away, I barely notice any bass distinction within my music. They should have offered me some alternative to fix it yesterday, whether I purchased a new receiver or some other alternative. They mentioned that Sony receivers exhibit low power to bass sometimes, so I looked at a Pioneer online and now they're booked out to late April for installation...I have to wait a month to fix a problem created yesterday. I'm very disappointed and unsatisfied.

    I dropped my car off for subs and amp install only to be called 2 1/2 hours later for the woman to tell me she refused to do my install. She claimed the amp was too powerful for the subs and could overheat and start a fire. This of course was a total lie. If anything the amp I had was not powerful enough for the subs. This woman was retaliating because I complained about another geek squad employee a few weeks prior who said he had to reschedule my appointment because he didn’t have the 4 gauge wiring kit. I took the day off of work and use my pto only to be canceled on for no reason. Michelle had been in contact with this guy Ben from the Eagan location and she was doing this for retaliation. Go to a custom shop do not use geek squad!

    Geek squad installed my car stero setup

    Very poor installation. Heater controls were never plugged back into new unit. Vents were broke and never notified about. Ground was atratched poorly on scratched paint surface. Almost started the carpet on fire. The next appointment was canceled by installer. Geek squad store manager was supposed to call back to reschedule and never did. Very disappointed as i have had other installs done that were fine. Install department seems to have a high turn over with not so qualified installers working now and a management that does seem to care once they have been paid.

    Never had the work done and got a refund. Employee refused to do the work because he didn’t know anything about the car I own. Why do you ask for the car model if you do nothing in research before the appt. I had to take off of work, and get nothing to compensate. Poor service.

    They had the wires mixed so positive was on negative and negative was on positive , extremely angry because I spent over $1000 on the whole set up for them to basically screw it all up
