GEEK DOOR POLICY STUPID, NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY

THE STORE POLICY ON BACKDOOR IN STORE ENTRANCE WAS STUPID, 1) HAD TO WALK OUTSIDE TO COME IN THE STORE, 2) THEN MADE ME GO ALL THE WAY OUTSIDE TO AN OUTSIDE DOOR TO GET MY KEYS TO COMPLETE MY ORDER PROCESS, NO WAITING LOUNGE. BATHROOM JANITOR WOULD NOT LET ME ENTER EVEN AFTER INFORMING HIM I WAS A DIABETIC.

FAILED INSTALLATION
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I came to best buy specifically because I had another attempt prior of having my amp installed with sub. They failed too. The best buy initial install (from what I am told by another best buy employee (diff location) is that the system was put in backwards. And that he tapped into the front speakers which is giving me distortion .. Which is why I went back in the first place. But because It was installed erroneously, it also blew out my sub. Thank god Chris from west Los Angeles location is managing this the way customer service used to be back in the day. He means what he says and says what he means. He has taken the entire transaction and has been managing it like a well seasonsed bro.

Disappointed

After waiting a month to get in I had higher expectations. Parts for the entire installation were defective. We discussed the placement of items which were changed when I picked up my vehicle. Holes drilled and things installed in places not authorized or discussed. Lots of problems with the equipment (cameras). After I get out of the parking lot two of my speakers (not new) are blown. Good luck getting in touch with anyone to fix the speakers.

Poor customer service

First thee times were fantastic! Fourth time was infuriating. The new installers and management were very rude and provided horrible customer service when approached with my issue with this installation! Poor communication skills, don’t return phone calls and their responses when I called them were continuously changing from their previous responses. Took four weeks to get their resolution. We will not be returning to the Chesterfield MO store. Customer service. No customer with bad service!!

Doesn’t work

The sub got moved maybe an inch while packing the trunk to go camping and the wires are now not connected and it won’t work anymore. Very disappointing. Please contact me.

You get what you pay for...

Chances are when they're "done" you'll drive your vehicle around the block and find things they screwed up. SO take it for a 20 minute drive and test all of your features before going home. This is the third time wev'e had audio installed that they installed incorrectly.

Horrible Service

First the installer didnt show up to work after waiting around in the store for 30 mins because he was supposed to show at 11 am and nobody told me, apparently nobody knows the schedule or when someone calls off. Then they rescheduled me another 3 weeks out and then 3-4 days prior to my install the "geek squad manager" leaves me a voice mail saying there not doing car installs anymore. A total unprofessional waste of my time.

Terrible experience

They torn up my radio and then wanted me to paid another $500 to fix it after I had just paid over $300 for a simple install. Terrible experience. Myself nor all the people I know will never use Best Buy again. Nothing but a big ripoff!!

I left with headlights not working, interior lights not working and the subwoofer and amp improperly installed. They sent me packing knowing the system was installed incorrectly. Told me the next appointment was in December. Worst customer service experience I think I have ever encountered. Something that was supposed to be fun and exciting turned out being costly in time and money and left worse off then when I arrived.

Installation

Geek Squad didn’t install my car audio

He said this is no Honda so it’s not easy. Rescheduled me with another installer in a later date after I already waited 3 weeks for my appt.

Bad installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The agents cut all the wiring short behind the dash making it difficult to wire together...they didn't put tape or anything to keep the wires from shorting out or any kind of connection to prevent what eventually happened....it stopped working after a couple of months and I have been given the run around when trying to get it fixed and it's been 3 months!!!! very very disappointed

Chose geek squad location carefully
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.when i first for my sub installed, they did great job, however this time i went to the arrowhead location rather than the avondale one. both times i went to avondale the geek squad worker kept trying to up sell me on different items. installation second time around was incomplete as well
