    The installer is very helpful and is trying to help me but the equipment is either not what i need or I really dont know. But I m not satisfied at all. Spent a good amount of money.

    Made an appointment to install a subwoofer. On that day my son called to verify the appointment. The guy he talked to said they were busy and they would call him back. He must have misunderstood the question because they never called back and we missed our appointment. There was a big problem getting the truck back in on that day. I had to go through 3 people to finally get my truck in. They wanted to reschedule and we already had to wait 1 month for an appointment.

    The technician installing my sub was not friendly and did not care to explain information to me. He was more worried about finishing before his shift ended. Then he installed my bass remote control UNDER THE SUBWOOFER. So now I have to remove the subwoofer and remove my seat to figure out where he put it.

    Oringnally installer told me no one from geek squad was familar with my year vehicle it took longer because of that Still have issues with the install not happy at all dont work properly i get loud sound feedback which sounds louder than the bass it does this with radio off i didnt get much help installer trued to blame it on the amp sell me new amp when this same amp no issues in the same vehicle

    didn't wire the backup cam the right way. It is supposed to automatically turn on when u put it in reverse and i have to manually turn it on. and the HDMI part stays on and kills my battery! i thought they would've known these things and done it the right way, but seems like they just went the easy way instead....

    Bought some speakers for my car and had an amp installed and the installer did a poor job I found screws missing panels not correctly installed rubber boot in the door not reinstalled correctly and to top it all off the fastening straps for my seat cover were broken I found them on the floor....never again will I use their services.

    I wanted to get an amplifier installed for my 2 subs that I had bought. I tried to get an appointment but it would have taken weeks, so I installed it myself. I then went to the store to get a refund and they told me there was nothing they could do to return my money. I then went online to see if I could cancel the order but there was no way to get a refund of any kind. I will never buy anything from Best Buy due to this matter!

      Hi Matt – It’s awesome that you were able to get those amps installed yourself. That can be a tricky job! Under our Return & Exchange Promise completed services can’t be returned, but if the service wasn’t completed we should be able to get you a refund. If you bought the service in the store I’d suggest heading back in and speaking with a manager. If you bought it online please give us a call at 1-888-BESTBUY (1-888-237-8289).

    Was not completed. I was bumped out of my appointment due to the fact that the installation techs messed up on the customers vehicle before mine so best buy tried to reschedule me to 2 weeks out. So much for being an elite customer, i should have been a priority but atleast i have have other in town options

    Terrible. Waited 5 hours and they never even finished the install. I ended up having to go home and hook up my own remote wire for the Amp. Brenden and his supervisor Dillon had no idea what they were doing. Would never use them again and highly recommend you find somewhere else. I should be asking for my money back…

    Terrible experience. Installer said he called earlier to let me know he wouldnt be able to install. Specifically said he left a voicemail. That was a blatant lie. Im an avid best buy customer but i will not be returning again. Theres no need to lie straight to my face.

    Trying to cancel an order is virtually impossible. They have transferred me 4 times and stone-walled me. Order #04520574192013024 Done with Best Buy.

    You wired my stereo wrong and my car over heated cuz you unplugged my auxiliary fan when you installed my stereo and I’ve called to complain I will be up to see a manager as soon as my car is out of the shop

    The installation was not what I expected and the speaker quit working and everything makes a buzzing noise and smells like it’s burning I am worried my equipment is going To catch on fire! This is a horrible experience and I would Be happy if I could Get you guys to fix the issues I have been trying to resolve for Over 3 months!!!!

    They got it all hooked up nice and hidden but wired the amp to the sub wrong. My sub blew out two times already just got my third one and finally checked their wiring. Fixed it myself. Kicker L7 15. 3rd one I've had to get because of this. that's $1650 since I had to get two new ones after the first one. If I was planning on spending that much would of went to some custom audio place instead.

    Tech screwed a 6lb amp to the back of the seat in my brand new car. Of course the weight of the amp ripped the screws out, leaving holes in my seat and damaging the amp. Line output converter was installed under trunk interior... so you couldn't get to it to adjust any settings.

    Nothing got installed because the people that set the appointment up didn’t listen when I told them they were powered subwoofers. They needed installation kits which were going to cost me $200 more on top of what I paid already for the installation with the total tech support.

    No amp installed. Told to buy and the “genius” squad could not complete the task, this wasting my time and money. Stay away from Reynoldsburg, OH store. It’s a joke. Unprofessional, poor communication, and rude. Want to complain to a manager? Good luck the avoid you like Covid.
