Terrible experience

They torn up my radio and then wanted me to paid another $500 to fix it after I had just paid over $300 for a simple install. Terrible experience. Myself nor all the people I know will never use Best Buy again. Nothing but a big ripoff!!

Bad installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The agents cut all the wiring short behind the dash making it difficult to wire together...they didn't put tape or anything to keep the wires from shorting out or any kind of connection to prevent what eventually happened....it stopped working after a couple of months and I have been given the run around when trying to get it fixed and it's been 3 months!!!! very very disappointed

Doesn’t work

The sub got moved maybe an inch while packing the trunk to go camping and the wires are now not connected and it won’t work anymore. Very disappointing. Please contact me.

Geek Squad didn’t install my car audio

He said this is no Honda so it’s not easy. Rescheduled me with another installer in a later date after I already waited 3 weeks for my appt.

Not the sound that I wanted

install subwoofer

The guy he talked to said they were busy and they would call him back. He must have misunderstood the question because they never called back and we missed our appointment. There was a big problem getting the truck back in on that day. I had to go through 3 people to finally get my truck in. They wanted to reschedule and we already had to wait 1 month for an appointment.

Chose geek squad location carefully
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.when i first for my sub installed, they did great job, however this time i went to the arrowhead location rather than the avondale one. both times i went to avondale the geek squad worker kept trying to up sell me on different items. installation second time around was incomplete as well

Poor sub/amp installation

He was more worried about finishing before his shift ended. Then he installed my bass remote control UNDER THE SUBWOOFER. So now I have to remove the subwoofer and remove my seat to figure out where he put it.

Not happy install was bot done properly

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Oringnally installer told me no one from geek squad was familar with my year vehicle it took longer because of that Still have issues with the install not happy at all dont work properly i get loud sound feedback which sounds louder than the bass it does this with radio off i didnt get much help installer trued to blame it on the amp sell me new amp when this same amp no issues in the same vehicle

Took my money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to get an amplifier installed for my 2 subs that I had bought. I tried to get an appointment but it would have taken weeks, so I installed it myself. I then went to the store to get a refund and they told me there was nothing they could do to return my money. I then went online to see if I could cancel the order but there was no way to get a refund of any kind. I will never buy anything from Best Buy due to this matter!

Under our Return & Exchange Promise completed services can’t be returned, but if the service wasn’t completed we should be able to get you a refund. Poor installation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought some speakers for my car and had an amp installed and the installer did a poor job I found screws missing panels not correctly installed rubber boot in the door not reinstalled correctly and to top it all off the fastening straps for my seat cover were broken I found them on the floor....never again will I use their services.

It is supposed to automatically turn on when u put it in reverse and i have to manually turn it on. and the HDMI part stays on and kills my battery! i thought they would've known these things and done it the right way, but seems like they just went the easy way instead....

Terrible

I ended up having to go home and hook up my own remote wire for the Amp. Brenden and his supervisor Dillon had no idea what they were doing. Would never use them again and highly recommend you find somewhere else. I should be asking for my money back…

Kicker hideaway almost installed

I was bumped out of my appointment due to the fact that the installation techs messed up on the customers vehicle before mine so best buy tried to reschedule me to 2 weeks out. So much for being an elite customer, i should have been a priority but atleast i have have other in town options
