Lightweight and comfortable to use, love the touch screen and flip to tablet mode. keyboard is silver and backlit so its great in low light but a bit hard to see the keys in medium/normal indoor light.

My daughter is a senior in college and we were really hoping her old laptop would last all through college. Unfortunately, it didn't. But, she is thrilled with the speed and memory in this new laptop.

My daughter has used this laptop for a little over 18 mos. now. It has been a really solid piece of hardware and taken some pretty significant use as we purchased it as she entered her freshman year of college. I will recommend to anyone buying a computer for their child, especially if it is headed away from home, is to buy the Geek Squad extended service plan. Just before Christmas she had an issue where the unit wouldn't power up and we ended up getting the internal AC adapter replaced with the plan. To be clear, I dont think this was an HP issue but rather a bit of an abuse issue. Otherwise this has been a great laptop with few issues.

This laptop is ultra fast and makes writing papers or surfing the web a breeze.

The computer is sleek I love the 2 in 1 option with the touchscreen it makes it so much easier to navigate through everything with out the use of a mouse love it so far !!!!!

We got this for a student entering college. It may have more power than she needs, but she loves it, and really likes the combination of keyboard and touch screen.

Laptop runs smooth and quick, keyboard has that nice smooth feel, not clunky. Touch screen is a great feature and even updates run quickly. Lots of storage space.

This computer is fast and I like the ability to use a pen and scroll down the page as opposed to using the keyboard. Not too big or small, size is optimal.

At first the laptop appeared to meet all needs -- speed, form factor, price and weight. HOWEVER, the fan noise in unacceptable for a new laptop. The high pitched whine is a distraction for myself and anyone within a 10 ft radius. The fans noise ranges between a landing aircraft and a death rattle. The recommended "fixes" are ineffective and a wholly disappointing response from HP.

Getting started with the touchscreen was a bit difficult because I've never used one before, but once I got use to it, the feature was great for gaming.
