    I bught this item for my wife's birthday and got it home and the keyboard wouldn't work but the touch screen did. We returned it for another one. The replacement one had issues as well. The machine didn't know if it was opened and wouldn't start up and load the apps properly. I would guess there is a design flaw in the hinges as they would create the issues listed above. If you buy one, make sure you get an extended warranty or buy something else.

    The processor is nice and it runs fast, but it can't even run the old version of Skyrim which is ridiculous for something at this price range. I have an older laptop that was only $400.00 that runs it much better. I understand it's not a gaming rig, but its a 9 year old game. With this processor and memory the video should not have been so drastically overlooked.

    I bought this computer yesterday and I am returning it today. The keyboard did not work upon setup. I spent hours searching forums and HP for help and nothing resolved the issue. I am very disappointed.
