Slow..HDD is noisy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you use one hand, the screen will fall flat..Not a very good product. The HDD is slow and clunky. Keyboard is not the best..The four arrows next to space bar should not be there.

Please save your money.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this laptop in the summer for college. When I first set it up, (within the first few days) it started freezing and acting up for NO REASON. I only downloaded google chrome and I was watching a YouTube video. However, I was optimistic and tried to fix the problem and I took it to the geek squad. They told me it was a software problem and wanted to charge me money to FIX the problem, however I was not going to spend extra money when I already spent $700. They told my to reformat the laptop and reinstall Windows 10. I did all of this, and it still DOES NOT WORK. There is something wrong with the drive, and I’m now out $700 with a useless laptop.

WASTE OF MONEY
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Worst laptop I have every had. This was not a work computer. It was mainly used for recipe seaching and shopping. I had to bring it in to geek squad while it was still under warranty because the screen was flickering when typing. They sent it out to be repaired...everytime it came back there was another issue with it. The last time it was sent out Geek Squad had it for over 6 weeks before it was finally replaced.

Problems out of the box
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although I loved all of the features this computer had, I experienced nothing but problems straight out of the box. I ultimately had to return this, after jumping through all of the return policy hoops. Not at all happy with 15 day Best Buy return policy on computets. Luckily Geek Squad agreed that it was mechanical issue with the computet as well, and over ruled customer service. Otherwise, would have been a very expenisve paper weight.

Worst laptop I ever had
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace an 8-year-old Dell laptop. I saw some positive reviews on Google and didn't want to spend a thousand dollars; however, this laptop is worse than my old one. It is slow and takes forever to get pages open. It's lousy with videos. I am constantly restarting it. I have tried everything to figure out why it's so horrible, but I think it just is. I will be forced to buy a new, high quality brand name laptop soon.

Laptop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer is worst I’ve purchased out of the ten I’ve bought over the decades. Takes forever to load. Hate windows 10 and can’t stop updates. Won’t get any money for return which is sad. Kids work there and no solid knowledgeable person to even help and answer phone. Money wasted!!!!!

Laptop is crap
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ASUS Laptop that I purchased only worked to my satisfaction for about 9 months. After that, it was super slow and very unresponsive. It was only used in an office setting for documents but nevertheless, it wasn't as good as an HP.

Multitasking
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As a college student during the last month or so of the spring semester, I have to multitask very, very frequently. I have multiple projects and assignments to work on and multiple tests to study for. As well as school, I entertain myself with video games. Currently, I have four very large PowerPoint documents open, six Microsoft Word documents open, and more than 10-15 tabs open at any given time. As well as all that is open right now, I have downloaded two separate games with multiple expansion packs. Even though this is probably not healthy long term for my laptop, I would say it is working like a CHAMP. It is still quite fast while giving clear images and clear audio at all times. Battery life is phenomenal as well while running everything. Also, I'm not sure if this is an isolated incident or not, but the touch pad does not work properly. The pointer of the screen with jump around when I'm using it (sometimes it will jump straight across the screen), and sometimes when it is acting up a lot the pointer will wiggle on the screen when I am nowhere near the touch pad. I have to be very careful and very meaningful when using the it. Again, I'm not sure if this is an isolated incident or not, but be aware and invest in a good mouse for when working on a desk or whenever you're at home. Keeping the screen clean is very tough as well since it is touch screen enabled, especially if you use the screen a lot. Over all though, I would recommend this laptop to anyone considering one.

good price, great starter laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I helped my son purchase this laptop with his earnings from this past summer. He needed a new laptop for school, primarily for web design and digital media arts class. I have an ASUS ROG, a very high-end machine; I have used my son's laptop several times and found it to be an EXCELLENT mid-level starter laptop with a world of possibilities and touchscreen. My only complaint is that it is difficult to upgrade and it could use a little more RAM than what comes off the shelf.

Love it!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in LOVE with this laptop! I've had it for a little more than a month now. At first, it ran really slowly, but after doing all the Windows updates the speed went up quite a bit. It runs quickly and smoothly. The battery life is superb, although I'm a bit biased because my previous laptop was getting old and only had about 2 hours of battery life. The laptop is very thin, relatively light, and has a good size. I love that a keypad is included. The touch screen DOES work with the Wacom Bamboo pen that Best Buy sells. I had to fiddle with the settings a little bit to get it to work, but it does work. It also supports pen pressure with the pen. I bought this computer specifically so I could do digital art by drawing directly on the screen (and also because I needed a new computer) and I'm very pleased with how it works.
