I had an ASUS that was probably around 8 years old or so and it is still working great but wanted to upgrade so I bought this one, and I love it. Wasn't overly priced and I was able to pick up an open boxed one. It's slim and keys respond great. Has fingerprint identification that works well and a 1T amount of hard drive space. Would recommend if you don't need a faster 2T gaming version.

This laptop boots up quickly retrieves email in seconds has a nice feel to they board and decent battery life all i all I think is a value purchase

The functionality is average, but there are a few things that bothered me quite a bit. The keyboard is supposed to have a good back-light but it seems to be off a bit. The keys are not lit up evenly which is just annoying. The transfer rate when transferring files over a wireless network seemed to be slow, might be the onboard network card. I tested several things but it was always slower than other laptops. The biggest problem was when I connected an external speaker with a headphone jack. It had a lot of sound problems when it was connected, random sounds whenever it was openning up a webpage or doing anything other then running a music file.

Laptop is nice and as described. It works well with the printer I have.

So far my only issue is the keyboard. I am sure I will get use to it but it is a bit difficult for me to see

I compared several laptops for a couple of hours in the store and found this one to have the best features for the price. I was only considering laptops with HD screens so that bumped up the price level a little. Pros: great picture, comfortable keyboard with numeric keypad and best tactile feedback, fairly fast, more RAM than most others, fair price for the features. Cons: speakers are on the bottom of the laptop, a little heavy, should have SSD or 7200 RPM HDD. Overall my family has been impressed with this laptop.

Purchased this laptop for my girlfriend who was going back to school. It is all that is needed for school work and the occasional netflix stream. If you are looking for an affordable laptop for school this is a great option.

Bought this as "open box". Not disappointed at all! Would recommend, love it over my Lenovo any day! Touch screen is great, although I'd like a scroll bar on the mouse pad like my Dell has. Great buy.

The PC was a good price with the student discout, and it was easy to setup. It is currently working good. No problems.

I actually hate Microsoft based computers, but because colleges have yet to get smart, I bought this for my daughter to use for her college needs. To date it has been a reliable and worthwhile investment. Touch screen still functions well and properly (bought it almost a year ago) and that was one of my biggest concerns, no issues keeping the OS up to date, so far has worked with all the college account needs; cannot complain. It was recommended by the Best Buy sales associate and she was right about it. Great job! I do highly recommend it for a new college student's needs. The only bummer is it doesn't have a CD/DVD drive, which we've needed a couple times, but worked around it, so wasn't a deal breaker.

My son is using this computer for school work and games, of course. He describes the computer as fast and user friendly. The touch screen is nice to have. This is his 3rd computer and he says the best one yet.
