I got this laptop after Best Buy wouldn’t fix my laptop even though it was under warranty, has soon as it powered on the fan kicked on and was very loud. Every time I turned it on something would stop working and I would have to turn it off and back on, just for it to happen again.

I needed a machine that fit these performance specs. I haven't purchased an HP recently, but so far, this one is great!

This is a great laptop. Excellent screen resolution and light weight. Great sound and speed. One of the best features is that you can flip the screen all the way around and use it as a tablet. Great price for what you get and the screen size.

Its a great laptop, very comfortable, big screen and the keyboard has this kinda lights in the edges of each button

My old Laptop was slowing down with all the graphics, and streaming, this one is great with speed and show graphics much better.

I use this computer for work. It is fast and has everything you'd need. Great storage and battery life as well.

A little hard to get use to a new computer, but gets better the more I use it. My son is an IT and he loves it.

It is fast. Screen is clear. Just the right size. It times out to fast. Haven't found how to adjust that yet.

This review is going to focus on the setup process. For some reason, PCs are taking longer and longer to set up. I understand the need to connect to WiFi networks, or set up login IDs, but this constant asking if I want to "opt in" to sending data back to HP, or whatever manufacturer is getting annoying. Adding advertisements during the setup process is frankly, unacceptable. I also understand that an initial update of Windows is a good idea. But it would have been helpful to know it would likely take a couple hours to download and install. Or perhaps create an option to do overnight. If you buy an HP computer, be prepared for at least 30 minutes of setup time if you actually want to take a moment and think about each question. Or, I suppose you can just click "recommended" setup and have all your information dumped to HP, Microsoft, and whatever "partner" (read: advertisers) they decide to ship your data to.

We bought the new HP laptop. Always had Dell and I see no difference in quality, speed, etc. HP was more money and it was not worth spending more then the Dell one.

Perfect laptop for school and work. Light weight considering the larger screen. Fast and great battery life.

I like the use of the eye scan as a log in. Compared to other brands, this was the Best Buy for the money

This computer has everything a college student freshmen needs for school. It's light, fast and powerful.
