This is a great laptop. The screen is clear and the touch screen option is great. It has great speed.

I had to exchange the laptop since a Windows update crashed my laptop and Geek Squad wanted money to fix it. The 2nd laptop worked fine. It functioned fine, easy to set up, and like the touchscreen. It is bigger and a little heavier than I wanted - kind of wished I had gotten something smaller now. HP is my favorite brand out of the others because it seemed to last longer. It is a good laptop if you want to use Adobe products, to learn a programming language, etc.

I had to return this laptop 3 times, the first time i was provided with a broken screen laptop, the second time the laptop i was provided with was noisy, the fan was so noisy for the very first time I powered up the laptop and i had to return it; the third laptop which seemed to be good, and which i still have, started making the same fan noise after 2 weeks. Today is the 20th day i have it, and i can no longer return it, and since 2 days it takes 10 minutes at start-up before the display comes up; i have a black screen for about 10 minutes before the display comes up. I am really disappointed with this laptop and service; I am a full time employee and full time IT student and had to waste a lot of time going so many times to BESTBUY to finally get something that is not even worth it. In class it is so annoying to wait for 10 to 15 minutes before screen comes up... ANd now I have to go through the whole process again and now with HP to get it fixed....

Bought this computer to replace an old one and it has performed beyond MyFitnessPal expectations.

I use my computer to teach graduate courses in Statistics. The computer has been great.

Let me start by saying I love this laptop. Very powerful I can run Auto CADD with no problems works seamlessly with the desktops at my University. That being said there are a few flaws. For example the windows ID system has some issues, after changing my Xbox live gamer tag and the email on file my laptop will no longer log in to my Microsoft account. Not that big of a deal since I mainly use it on my Xbox and not my laptop but it would be a major problem for streamers or anyone trying to upload videos to or from Xbox live. My other issue is with the PIN log in and facial recognition log in, after setting up my laptop I set the pin and once again after my issue with the Microsoft account my PIN no longer works to log in to my laptop the full password works just fine so I’ve resulted to using that. The facial recognition log in is great....if you don’t grow a beard. I set up my laptop with the FR login and then a few months later grew a beard and it no longer recognizes my face. Overall the computer itself is fantastic but the software disappoints. If you could make this laptop with the same level of software as is in the latest generation iPhones (6 and newer) it would be a marvel.

My son just loves his new laptop for school. Has all the bells and whistles he needs.

... but, it's like getting your parents a Porsche, they're only going to use it to get from point A to B doing the speed limit, and if they need to go faster, they can do that, too. They appreciate the sleek design. I got them Geek Squad in their corner, too, in case they need soft/hardware help. I got great customer service from the floor and the Geek Squad team, and that was very much appreciated.

I bought the laptop to replace my older one that died unexpectedly. I wanted an I7 processor with plenty of memory and high capacity hard drive so this accordion was a good fit. The set up was easy and I was up and running in no time. I haven't used all the features yet, but so far I am satisfied with this HP Laptop.
