It did everything I wanted it to do. It was a great gift for a person who has never flown a drone before. Very easy to use and takes great pictures but the only drawback is the battery life is very very short. I think they do this so that you have to buy an extra battery but you didn’t so the batteries don’t last very long.

Very user friendly and easy to fly. I have no experience flying drones and do not plan to do anything super technical with it; but want the overall experience to be safe and easy. This drone allows me to do just that.

New at this and decided to try it, easy to use and camera quality excellent. It was a quick learning experience. Enjoyed hours of fun with it. Happy with this product.

Finally my pre-ordered ready for pickup, took about a month, got the drone from store, no issue charging the drone, able to activate it, updated firmware, flew for 1 min in the room, just for testing, so far i like it.

First and for foremost, the app is terrible. The instructions for getting the drone working are no where to be found. I had to go on youtube, once you finally connect the control to the drone, stand by, because it is unsafe. This drone has a mind of its own, the control has been designed by an infant. It moves on its own and where it wants to. You can hit your house a neighbors home, trees, cars etc. This drone will not stay neutral. It moves all over the place. Its a very cheaply made drone, Save up a bit more and get a DJI drone for a reasonable price. The camera on this drone you have to move manually and once its in the air, it stays just as you left it. The battery compartment is designed in such a bad way that it feels like you are going to break it when removing or placing the battery in the drone. It definitely feels like a toy. So be very careful with your surroundings. This is NOT a plug and fly drone, you will have to be very careful and get used to very confusing controls. Im sorry, but this drone is just not worth it

Price is high for coverage, but I went ahead and got it. Took my drone in on December 14th, they told me because of covid they are looking at 2 week turn around. The status on my tracking never changed until December 29th and show they sent my drone to dji for repairs. Well I should have just used my dji coverage. After the 29th I didn't have any updates so I called the store in lakeland florida. They searched and said they don't know what's going on because it hasn't been updated. They would have a manager call me within 24 hrs. After 3 days no call I went to the store and talked to a geek squad employee. He said dji had my drone and he's not sure when it will be back. He will follow up with them. He stuck by his word and called me 2 days later saying he has a new one on the way. He was very helpful but here it is 53 days later and no drone in hand. He is the only reason I gave 2 stars.

The drone is lots of fun but it is not user friendly. The manual mode is very difficult to learn but once mastered looks like even more fun. Gave me a bit of motion sickness flying in manual. The battery life is underwhelming considering its 2021. It's rated at 20 mins but I ended up getting 13 mins max. Will be returning and paying the 15% fee to buy the Air 2s.

For starters - it is $100 cheaper from Amazon. BUT... WAIT A SECOND - Before you get all excited about this drone THERE IS A MAJOR ISSUE: THE BATTERY... This company has made a great product full of features and cool software, but they have FAILED TO TELL YOU that the battery life that they tout as being 30 minutes is AT THE MOST 15 minutes. To make matters worse, their software does not recognize this and hasn't been written with a MANDATORY RETURN TO HOME command that sends the drone back before it FORCES IT TO LAND - like it happened to me when I was flying over the Rio Grand gorge canyon bridge and the drone was forced to land on a vertical 600 foot rock wall that is not accessible to the public and I lost the drone. This MANDATORY RETURN TO HOME would prevent people from wondering how much more fly time they have and simply end the flight and bring their aircraft back safely. I just lost $700 because this company FAILS TO COME CLEAN on how long this drone can fly for - AGAIN - THE BATTERY LIFE IS NO MORE THAN 15 OR 20 MINUTES - but because the battery goes faster when it is windy, or when the camera is being rotated or when a quick flight is initiated it has no way to tell you that. THIS EXPERT Mr. Dovey should be telling you this! I am enfuriated with this product - which otherwise is great. It is like having a good friend... but he is dead - what is the point?

Always protect your premium investments, especially from Best Buy!

Had a minor damage to the gimbal after a crash and brought the drone in to be looked at and hoped that they would repair it. However, the Geek squad rep said that the only way for them to address it would be to give me a replacement and that would end my drone protection plan. Now that i know, i would not recommend buying it again.

Crappy geek squad ever they don’t do crap to repair a drone and want me to pay 80 dollars to ship it out when I have a warranty for a year and then want to say they can’t fix it there and I will have to pay manufacture crap ton of money. BEST BUY GEEK SQUAD IS A BIG MONEY PIT

This was a fun drone to fly. However, if you plan on purchasing this just know if you have a malfunction as I did and it flew away and never found it Best Buy will not replace it even if you have the warranty. If you can’t find the drone you’re out of luck.

Did not come with all RC cables. Tried to call the store directly; however, I was transferred multiple times to a nationwide representative.
